Which glass stem do you use? I think that is my gripe as well, the old silicon. I need to try a brand new one to see if it solves this hint of unpleasant taste that I notice as well.

Amazing! I ended up doing surgery on mine after I couldn't resolve my issues. Completely gutted, took awhile to get through all that hot glue. I wonder if I can repurpose this pi board to do other things. Any thoughts my fellow FC tech minded friends?

Having revisited with my Z this week, I'm glad I still have this thing and didn't sell her off. A heated and warmed Z is one of the best convection portables I'd had a chance to try.
