I hope I haven't made a mistake buying the SH and not the new V Rod (MK2 version). Brain keeps thinking anything newer must be better but I'm sure I'll be happy with the SH, which is sitting in customs. Feel stupidly excited though. Happy days FC ers :)

In anticipation of my SH arriving soon I'd like to ask what is the best way to clean everything before first use to get rid of any of the manufacturing process residue / oil etc. Would just a good clean with 99 ISO suffice? Can't wait.....

This is very interesting, thank you @GoombaTroop . Is there any difference in usage / feel between the 14/18mm Male and Female heads? Or is it purely just dependant on the glass to be used ?
