Has anyone darkened / aged the contact or base plate on their Mi3? I'm in the process of replacing the button and thought I might try this while I wait for my part to arrive.

@bornfree13 raising the ceramic bowl is a great idea!

@moondog I've also sanded the curved parts of the outer edges so when fully pressed together there's a very consistent slight gap between the two halves. I'd say start my removing the tool and see how the button works without it and go from there, so far seems to have worked here.

After the sticky button issue my FW6 came back from Marc and worked well for a time however over the last few weeks it didn't respond with what I was asking it to do. Random buzzes during use and not always functioning well, powering down during draws etc If I just click the heater module down...

Combusted at 12.5W few draws in with a packed G43 at around 4 min heat up time and minute or so between draws. Think I'm settling for 11.5-11.8 now, luckily I stopped immediately when I saw that glass fill up with that 'orrible yellow tinged smoke. Wanted to thank @Terpenetime on the cleaning...

044 here, I've got really nice grain and knots in my Mi3. Really enjoying mine, full extraction, no stirring required, I found it very intuitive to use but I also have other RBT vapes. I love the fact it runs a little hotter than previous models. Super duper happy here

I doubled checked the RDA wire screws and indeed one could be tightened a little (1/8th turn). Resistance dropped to 0.80 and now I'm able to drop the wattage to much lower levels and get full extraction. @Baron23 thanks again for the tip :)

Getting and then leaving the G43 at a lower resistance has improved it for me significantly. I was running at 13.5 W with 5 min preheat and then 1 minute in between draws. This now feels too hot and will experiment at lower wattages now I've got the Mod to read 0.92. Can the resistance not be...

@Cl4ud3 and @Baron23 thank you both for the great advice. I checked the RDA wire terminations and they seemed fine and firmly in position. I get different resistance readings every time I unscrew and tighten the RDA to the Mod. Ranged from 1.33 to now 0.94 ?!?? Why is that ?

@LabPong is 1.10 considered high ? I ask as my G43 seems to run a little cooler than most on here but not as cool as @Creeper . Thanks

@almost there I have a cooler running G43 too and am running the same wattage as you, I bought the mod through Bud. Glad I'm not the only one, tried multiple times around the 11-11.5 mark but was left feeling a little disappointed. But crank it up and it's a different animal altogether...
