Two last questions... Is the difference in taste and the temp of your draw negligible between short and long stems? Does the current sale with a free item included extend through this weekend or does it end today? I think you see where this is going...damn you guys and your great...

If I purchased the short stem/bowl version, would I be able to put the longer stem/bowl on the base at a future point?

^^^ I was part of the initial Indiegogo campaign. When I ordered my 'Hopper at that time, I also put in an order for the Ti Case that they were going to offer. Got my 'Hopper...still waiting on the case. They will NOT refund the initial campaign participants, as that goes against the "rules"...

If your choice is paying the rent/mortgage or getting the VRod, then "maybe" choose the rent/mortgage.:) Otherwise, you should not regret getting a Vrod. NV equipment is that good. :nod::tup:

My routine involves putting warm/hot water in the ultrasonic cleaner, then add a baggie with iso and the parts that need cleaning in it. The warm/hot water will warm up the iso a bit and make it more effective. My cleaner runs about 5 minutes per cycle. Depending on how gunked my pieces are...

@Dingleb3rry A cheap ($20+) ultrasonic cleaner will take away the need to soak anything overnight. I went from hours soaking or even overnight, plus scrubbing, down to 15 minutes max with no scrubbing to clean pretty much anything spotless. Many of us on here use them...YMMV.
