Nothing massive. It also takes longer to heat then most users do.

Does the Milaana get hot toward the bottom? I've noticed mine gets pretty hot and I don't remember it being that bad. Only on one side with the button facing right the bottom right corner gets hot. Is this normal?

Yeah. 10 gets me somewhat light vapor and a full 15 will usually leave hot spots while leaving the rest of the bowl medium dark. Edit: I think I was drawing too fast. I tried the same timing with a slower draw and got more satisfying results.

That's funny. I've owned three and I've not even been able to bring it to the brink of combustion on either. A 12 to 15 second preheat usually gets me a hit at I'm guessing around 370 and up. Under 400 I would guess. I've never really had the burnt popcorn taste.

Does anyone know a good cheap wax for the milaana? I've stained mine and would like the wax it. Any advise? edit: After looking online a mix of beeswax and oil should do the trick.
