First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

Sincerely hope you enjoy it @fkabravo! If you’ve only smoked flower and used the carts starting a bowl by heating right at the tip to get a low temp terp hit is a great way to see what your flower can taste like!

Best portable convection vape for flavor.

That’s strange he wouldn’t do ppg&s. For whatever it’s worth that poster has been active on Vaporents and seems like a cool guy. I guess that doesn’t necessarily correlate with ethical though. You should send the mods that conversation as @Grass Yes suggested. It would be cool if some of these...

    Tetra P80

Yeah I think on IG lamart said they’ll be viewable on the site prior to the drop. We will see though. The dyed burl units are beautiful. I don’t need another, but I might have to toss my hat in the ring as well…

Best portable convection vape for flavor.

It’s your call, but I keep seeing this as the reason to pass on the tinymight and it doesn’t really make sense to me. The tinymight uses 18650 cells. While you can charge them in the device, the best practice is to use an external charger anyway, so it’s kind of a moot point 🤷‍♂️.

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

Echoing a lot of other people, I would just use your dyna to vape CBD. It will still perform admirably, so I'm not sure why you think you need a backup for it. If you just want a backup to try something different that is a thing, but I would personally swing for something like an Xmax v3 pro...

Best portable convection vape for flavor.

I suspect for what is widely available it’s the TM. There’s an old thread asking users which they preferred between the tm and the tetra p80, but it seems like it’s mostly a potato potahto kind of situation. Still, maybe worth a read—https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/tinymight-vs-tetra-p80.46399/

Gathering thoughts on a concept for a future vaporizer.

Looking at your last set of sketches, is the idea that you place the heated battery onto some sort of glass screen that separates the herb from the heater but still allows the air to flow through? It seems cool from a ritual standpoint, and I like the aesthetics of some of the heating options...

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

@fkabravo I personally think holding off on an ih is wise in general, but it’s something to consider if spinning the dyna is a pain. An alternative might be the Simrell fmv. It’s a copper sleeve you put around the cap that acts as a heat sink. It removes the need to spin, but it also is designed...

Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

I’m usually in the “buy once, cry once” camp when it comes to purchases like this, but given that you’ve already got a conduction session vape a cheap way to test the on demand convection waters might be an xmax v3 pro. It’s not a desktop and I think if you smoke 1-2g a day your rightly...

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

Yeah usually I agree. Mainly for me by the time you add in the cost of most induction heaters to a vapcap you’re close enough to a tinymight that it’s a hard sell for me. But I am fortunate to have a lot more discretionary income than I did when I was younger, and that might not be everyone’s...

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

Nah the vapcap is a great starting vape that just happens to hold its own against many of the more premium portables as well. I don't think you need to regret it or anything like that. The flavor criticisms being leveled are kind of true of any convection vape--after a hit or two the terps are...

Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

Yeah, stirring a basket screen or log stem seems an exercise in frustration. It’s been my experience though that a lot of vapes that load stems this way are even enough to not require stirring. The exception would be joint packing an 18mm stem with a screen at the end of the joint. Many of my...

Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

@Jbagz as Shit Snacks said the WS is a log that just happens to use a dynavap for the stem. There are a couple of all glass screens you can use with it as well, but it shines with a dynavap tip and then all of the stem/wpa options that opens up to you. It is extremely efficient and tasty, and...

    Tetra P80

Not a big fan of the short size as it gets way too hot way too fast. Not a fan of the capsules either, personally. They hurt the flavor of the vapor quite a bit, and given the glass internals and difficulty of acquiring a p80 it’s not really the kind of vape I’m taking out and about where the...

Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

Yeah sorry, maybe I should have been more nuanced in the mixed bag comment. I don’t think anyone knocks arizers build quality, ability to get you medicated, or value. It’s more that it’s just a pretty common refrain around here to see them referred to as lacking compared to some of the more...

Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

I haven't used the XQ2 personally. Its certainly versatile in that it offers the ability to use whips or bags, but Arizer's reputation is a little hit or miss around here: they make nice devices but the vapor quality is sometimes said to be a little lacking due to using older conduction heating...

    The J-hook thread!

I really love the flat mp. Feels comfortable and yeah, doesn't seem to impact the airflow much. Its still wide open to me!

    LAST vape NEXT vape

That’s arguably a bad reason to dismiss the tinymight. As it uses 18650 batteries ideally you are charging them in an external charger anyway. On topic, my last vape was my tetra p80. For my preferences I haven’t really felt any “need” to upgrade. I can take low temp flavor hits, temp step up...
