Sometimes you stare into the heater and the heater stares back.

@StringTheorista that's a bad ass little gargoyle. I'd love to see him sitting in a dark vapor filled room with a little flame coming out of his head.

Re the Cannabucha video. Seems like a good idea. Why not throw some bud in there? While I was watching the video it inspired me. I threw some half-vaped bud in my beer. Tasty. Which led me to a question... On a different note: Can I use the VB to decarb? If anyone on here is familiar with...

@DRCousCous wow! I share the EXACT same sentiments as you. That post was word for word my thoughts. Wow, that felt good to read that. Thank you. I could not decide between the Ditanium and the Vapbong. I'm very happy with my decision of the Vapbong. However, there's no way to do concentrates...

Something to keep in mind when comparing "draw resistance" between devices - one needs to accont for personal style. Mouth draw? Big lung hit with ball on the whole time? Remove ball halfway through lung hit? Ground or hand shredded? Tiny bowl or huge wad of super sticky icky? There also might...

@wildwildeast welcome great to have you here! Your English is much better than my German. I very much appreciate the translation offer. I know we'll take you up on that soon. @Summer did you mean this? The opening is approx. 18mm across. If you'd like a different / better angle, let me know.

@justcametomind so sad for you man. That sucks. I sure hope it works out. They may be able to fix a broken bong. But, nothing can repair your broken heart. I'll do a few bowls in your honor. The sunlight is coming in just right and every tiny whisp of vapor is beautifully dancing around the...

I just pop out the screen, go to the kitchen sink and clean the ball with the rest of the dishes. Extra long rinse, viola! Squeaky clean. I think it's very similar to a coffee cup. I don't think anything more extreme is needed. Not that I believe iso is extreme. It's not.

@Texus I didn't notice any significant difference in flavor / taste / aroma with our without water. I wouldn't argue with someone who says there is a difference - I just didn't notice. Went wet again today. I did a full soap and water bottle brush wash today so I can see how clean it stays by...

Ok, so just for gits and shiggles I decided to use it with water today, I usually go dry. Gotta say, had a pretty good time. This device is so stable, secure and heavy it's a joy to use it with water. I didn't have many of the problems I've had before with water. This baby may convert me to...

For fuel: I used everclear at first. Too expensive and I'd rather drink it. Had zero smell or smoke when burning. $$$ I used denatured alcohol - about the exact same results as everclear. $$ I used 71% iso alcohol. There was a slight bit of smoke and it got my caps a little 'oily' smokey...

I'm telling my wife this exact phrase. She can determine if it's in regard to VB / cannabis or something else. Just sayin' - wish we could have more things in life as responsive as our vapes.

+1 on the alcohol lamp. My primary and favorite heating method. I made this one with a mason jar. I put a lid 'ring' thing upside down to make a nice ridge that I can roll the vapcap on rather than trying to hold it in space. I got my wick from Amazon, a company called Dan's Daughters it's 1/4"...

I feel the same way. The longest wait is when I turn it DOWN. I never know when it's 'cooled' from 10.5 to 10.3. I just wait an absurd amount of time. Probably completely unnecessary. But, I'm retired - what's my rush? You said it best, "I know it's not necessary but still". I believe AoV...

Sorry if this is a boring or long post. I wanted to share the results of a recent experiment. I use my VB dry. I don't like the idea of dusty little irritants on my throat. Usually the water would filter that out. So, I rigged up a very ghetto 'filter'. I was sorta surprised at how well it...

Re centering the heater: I don't think it has to be dead center. Just make sure it's free and moving and not making hard contact. As @Drinkaholik pointed out, that's what most likely caused an actual problem with mine. I suppose the lesson is: don't fix it if it ain't broke. Thank you...
