What do the threads look like? Of course the thing you should do is let them know, they cannot help you or improve for the future if they are not aware of issues.

I like both styles really, skinny or fat. just don't give me one of those awkward discs that I have to mush my lips against to form a seal.

I didn't feel like I was restricted when I used my Mighty with @Ratchett 's V3 SonG through my little setup with the AC. There's honestly little to no restriction with the SonG on the Mighty. I was able to really haul through the J-hook and never felt like I was limited. Trust me it's not going...

As long as the ID in the mouth piece is as big as the VC condenser (Which it is on these J-hooks) it shouldn't be the main source of restriction to flow in the system. Typically the cap and tip connection is where the flow is bottlenecked. I can suck on my huge wide mouth bong and start to feel...

Yes, they come in pairs and have a very narrow mouth piece. It also comes with free clips which is nice.

Damn, for that level of work the artist really could charge more and I would still happily pay.

I looked at the tip again and cleaned it with an iso soaked swab that came out a bit off colour though not significantly. It did come out with tiny metallic chips though, looks there's some galling on the bore with some material that is partially cold welded to the surface. Clean your tips...

Like the others said, all of our caps are out of round and oval/egg shaped. If they were perfectly round they would fall off the tip like you were saying. Bending the digger inwards has on my past caps has caused them to catch on the fins which I don't like very much. So I've stuck with...

What sort of contact or fitment are you expecting? There has to be contact with the tip at some point to create friction. There will always be at least two points of contact. Edited: I misread I'm not sure why anyone would want higher restriction though. I find that the 17Ms have the highest...

Yeah, but that would mean a large number of parts would be oversized. The number of cycles on some drawing dies can reach into the millions before they are out of specification. You should know that. No one is saying you're lying? I just find trouble believing your statements about the cap...

    Dynavap VapCap

Right, how do you know it was oversized? How do we know that it was even a manufacturing error if Dynavap couldn't inspect the part and you didn't have any other caps to even make a comparison to? Like @mrb and @stardustsailor said, the manufacturing process doesn't allow for error unless they...

Where I worked at a triple ISO certified company and facility we had EVERYONE do QC from the ground up. While they might not have the funds to hire people they certainly can improve internal practices and mentality when working. I don't get why you have to be so passive aggressive all the time...

I think if they had who ever is packing the orders pay a little more attention to the parts they would have less QC issues. Or perhaps they could have a few pickers and an inspector that checks the items on the order. Or the QC could come before that point when the batches of parts are made. A...

Thanks for the tip! I rotated it a little to the left, it is more ergonomic this way and sits on my desk far more stable now. It really wouldn't matter that much, I think making the taper on the piece might be the biggest of your worries depending on your equipment and tools.

I just got this J-hook and ashcatcher in the mail along with another nearly identical setup. I made a stubby body to match it and I have to say, I'm in love. It tames the vapour from the Vapcap without killing the flavour and lets me see when the tip has stopped producing vapour. It's beautiful...

My Sunshinestore pieces arrived FAST. It feels like I ordered them only yesterday. I'm super happy with the pieces, they pair up and function perfectly with the stubby vapcap I made. I love being able to watch the vapour make its way though the glass. The taste and cooling is exactly what I...

Daily smokers, why are you still buying China glass?

I've bought from american companies only to find that they're just reselling glass from china or the quality was pretty much the same. I've looked locally but the pieces were marked up significantly by the shop. When I've gone to local artists, they want hundreds or thousands of dollars for...

That is a big difference. Painted glass is no bueno. Colour glass is good.

Huh? Almost all glass colours are made the same. China makes shitty quality coloured glass, amercia makes some of the best. When I say this I'm talking about the actual colour rods that the artists use. Even the companies in America use things like cobalt and cadmium in thier coloured glass. As...

Yes, they are discontinuing or delisting Exotics which I totally agree with. I also avoid using exotics and never buy them, as I don't wish to contribute to the global market. I have small quantities that are drying up and most were gifted to me or salvaged. I've grown to love domestic...
