I like to do two medium heats with a nug before crumbling the nug in my palm and loading it back in the vape. Then I have to watch out since it produces a monster cloud.

It’s usually inhaling the dust that is the irritating part. Unless the vapcap is being abraded there’s really nothing to irritate your body. I can touch yellow cedar and it doesn’t cause me to itch or any of the other symptoms. But as soon as it’s cut and dust is in the air i can’t stand it.

I was saying the same thing a year and a bit ago, how can something so small and simple be so good? It has certainly what it takes to compete with electric vapes. It's good on a winters day or out on a boat when the wind is stealing the heat from your vapcap. The SS has more mass so it holds...

I believe it arrived some time around when I got my first fourth gen tips as well. It looks just like the middle cap on the right. Interesting to see these little differences from part to part after using them for so long.

That is very interesting, I wasn’t expecting such a long answer. I did some research on my photo history and it looks like the cap must have come with my order in early 2017. I was using a sharp corner cap before 03/2017 and this round corner cap appears after that time. On another note the...

@Apogee Is that how oval the cap had to be? or is that just to show the mod? Thanks for showing how you made them fit but I think most of us were more interested in how deformed the caps had to be when just squeezing it. Also, I'm not sure if it was covered but did you swap the ill fitting...

Here's a 14mm barrel stem I turned this afternoon. I decided to take a step away from metal and return to simple wood on wood for a change. Salvaged Mahogany, Cocobolo from George, and Maple Crotch wood that I logged myself. It's a lot faster this way since the complication of having a hard...

This is the most important part of the information. repeated exposure will make symptoms worse and the person more sensitive. Cocobolo and Rosewood are also Sensitizers. I have to wear a mask all the time when I'm working with Exotics. It's a very serious concern to sensitize yourself as it...

Send a message to Dynavap, they should be able to provide you with a replacement (for a small price?) or let you know how you can get another.

I found it pretty simple to use my single flame and go past the click by a second or two when heating at the base of the cap. I know that they could make bi metallic discs that clicked when hotter but that's more R&D and people could forget that they have a concentrates cap and use it with herb...

I have two 9/16" x 9/16" N50 disc magnets that are side by side* but you could probably get away with one magnet around this size and the cap would still fly off the tip with authority! KJ magnetics isn't carrying this size anymore but lets say that around 25-30lbs of pull force is what you're...

I use an extremely powerful magnet to pull the caps off which is stuck to my desk lamp so that I pull tip down. This is the only situation where I remove the cap with a stationary magnet. The reason being if I have a magnet that is on a flat surface the herb tends to fall down into the cap then...

I'm appreciating the proportion of vapcaps paired with smaller glass pieces more and more. Nice setups guys, thanks for sharing =) I ended up stacking my ashcatchers with the top one dry. It has better balance this way and slightly more cooling. The blue glass looks better this way as well...

I've had caps that clicked only once for months then suddenly decided that they would double click one day. I've also had one click disappear for weeks, or two clicks will happen on heat up and only one on cool down. Tis the way of the cap, I'm happy as long as it clicks.

I know it's not the case for most but I was waiting months for my Dynavap parts and held back talking about it or raising a complaint for a long time. The only reason I knew that the second wave of LE tips were shipped was that there were other members receiving LE tips and mouth pieces. Had I...

I still combust from time to time. Usually it's because I start heating before the cool down click and lose track of how long I've been torching until that moment when... "is that smoke, damnit..." Then I have to rush outside and get rid of the stinking load of burning herb. I don't make too...

It's worth mentioning that if you over load a cap or it is excessively dirty (like getting goopy concentrates on it), it will not click as loud or you may get a delayed click. Try not to have material sticking out of your tip that can contact the bimetal discs.
