Ive just been using one of those propane torches from home depot it works great. I heat it foe 25 seconds and get insane rips. Using MAPP could get that time even lower. I kniw it's not exactly what you're lookin for but the tanks last forever and are pretty damn cheap

Yeah it's a junior, I liked the portable aspect although it is a bit larger than I was expecting. The taste is only noticeable when using the restrictor flat side down. was gonna keep trying different methods but I got too high. :lol: Ill try smaller bowls next time :science:

Did you notice a flavor with the disc in? Mine made the vapor taste like wax when I put it back in to try it after initial failure to producd vapor with it. Edit: soaking the restrictors in alcohol made it better but the taste is still somewhat present with the restrictor nipple pointing up...

Junior. With the disc in it tastes like wax and doesnt even produce vapor, even with the flame shoved in the intake, so no and I dont plan on using it as tasting that means it's adding unsavory compounds to the vapor which kind of defeats the purpose I switched to vaping for.

You think people having to pay extra for a vape that's already $700 just so it won't melt is a good option? The only good option at that price level is updating the design to prevent it from occurring and offering free replacements

Damn Ive never seen bud that hairy. I dont really *have* to do it I just like to remove stems when I can, saves me work when I make avb edibles because I just grind up the avb into powder and put it straight into the mix.

If it gets orange hot that means the metal is offgassing and you probably wouldn't want to be inhaling that

When I grind I never put it upside down and it comes out great. I always break my nugs up into smaller nugs by ripping chunks off the stem and removing as much stems as possible.

Interesting, all I know is mine has a perfect grind so long as I stuff the top piece full of bud which will yield maybe 2 or 3 large chunks at most out of 1.5-2g and the rest will be uniformly fine. Do you break your nugs up into smaller pieces before putting them in the grinder?

@ontopofclouds Ive found my SCS to grind extremely fine when I load it fully. Are you sure you got a real one?
