If you like the results you're getting, just swab with a qtip dipped in Dark Crystal glass cleaner while the insert is still warm. It will remove all residue/carbon leftover. Otherwise I'd suggest just turning the temp down and/or adding a quartz/ruby pearl to help absorb/distribute the heat...

Fair point but it's additional metal in the airpath I don't like, and even then it can sometimes be fine - which is why I was also asking for heater pics and "new" cooling unit pics (at least last we heard there was supposedly new one) I never get metal taste from my SS Hopper even at max temp...

This is not true. The Tetra P80 is smaller than even single battery Tubo/Tetra Evic. There are plenty of pictures in the thread to corroborate this. Sorry for off-topic... But, If we're going to continue on with listing positive/negatives, I still think metal in the airpath is not desirable...

I use my 'hopper native at max quite often. I can kill bowls in 1-2 big ole rips this way. It's when you keep the device on for more than 20 seconds at a time, or try to do back-to-back bowls before it cools down that it gets "too hot to handle" I won't lie and say I wouldn't love a native...

Don't worry - I bit the bullet too. Those burl ones weren't cheap but... I already know this is a vape I will use for years to come... My Tubo (and dual) were some of my favorite vaporizers I had used. Not sure why I had let them go, but quite excited to own one of these beastly devices again...
