Riser is another term for an adapter with the same diameter on both sides. Also called an adapter.

If you use a 14mm adapter (riser) with a basket screen the material can be close. I do this and it brings the material very close.

I find the Disorderly Conduction is best. Seems like the Auber is closer to 15.8 mm and takes more fidgeting while the DC coil is a simple twist or slight open and done. I like the DC coils a lot.
