    Pax - All Models

Rough week. Happy to get home. Very happy to get home to a PAX 2 on my doorstep! Not intending a long post here, but want to check in to say this thing is cool as. Wish I'd gotten one years ago. Takes a truckload of herb to fill, but works great, and is soooooo coooool. I know I'm at the start...

    Pax - All Models

I've never really noticed a vape that reeks like I hear the pax does, so I'm curious to see it in person. Either way, I'm glad I tossed end caps into my order!

    Furna Vaporizer

$109 USD for a furna is a solid deal, not to mention whatever you got. Please report back how you like it. I'm curious to hear how they have improved the device since first release.

Vleaf Go: on-demand convection herb vaporizer!

Yeah, I've seen that request as well as some age checker stuff on some online stores. It's invasive enough to kill the purchase for me.

    Pax - All Models

After pining for a pax since the first release, but always talking myself out of it, I finally caved. Pax 2 ordered on potv bf sales. $120 is kinda too good to pass up. I'm a bit worried the brushed finish will have a rough texture to it and be weird in the hand. Otherwise, I don't expect it to...

    The Beam Laser Vaporizer

This isn't real and, at the very least, the investors don't understand how vapes or lasers work. Maybe the designers don't either, but someone is getting paid regardless. Now excuse me while I go shave with my laser razor, and grow my hair with my laser comb.

    Alfa Vaporizer by goboof

It's really big of you to adapt your opinions based on new information. Definitely keep posting your experiences with the alfa (and other vapes). When the alfa was released, it was cutting edge in size, and still has a lot of features that new vapes don't. It actually has a cleanable airpath...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

The fix is called "warranty replacement". PPN has encouraged this multiple times, and even offered to help if needed. I don't know about the top coming off. The poker tab on mine slots into rails which keeps it from tipping off.

    XVAPE FOG Pro

I was asking about the airpath, not the vaporpath. Intake to exhaust.

Pen Yocan Vane Portable Vaporizer Kit for your daily vaping

Nah, something about the shape and size (and price) of the vane really appeals to me. I like things I can bring with me and forget they are there until needed. Minimalism is king. Besides, I want to see more ultraportables like this to go head to head against those horrible oil pens. Less waste...

Pen Yocan Vane Portable Vaporizer Kit for your daily vaping

Thanks for the review on this! I really like ultraportable vapes, and almost bought one of these last week. I have too many vapes currently, so held off. But I love seeing stuff like this.

    XVAPE FOG Pro

Best to check the manufacturer specs so you can compare things. Most companies are transparent about the exterior makeup. Sounds like you are judging vape durability by heft and weight, or density of weight for the size. That's fine for an aesthetic preference! I'm eager for you (and others) to...

    Arizer Air MAX

Interesting choice on the batteries. Will make it a bit fatter, but at least will be compatible with 18650 still (with a sleeve I guess). 26650 is kinda falling out of favor in the industry in favor of 21700s, but whatever.

Fog Pro then? IIRC it's got the V3Pro heater and stuff, in the form factor you want.

I'm poised and ready for POTV to get the mouthpieces in stock, too! Gonna snag more dosing caps while I'm at it. I really like this form. The mouthpiece is very comfortable. Do you mean just the mouthpiece shape, or the whole long shape?

Cold weather, Xmax V3 pro - yes or no? (or other recommendations?)

I'm not surprised that a conduction vape outperforms a convection vape in the cold. It has several disadvantages, but roasting the herb isn't one of them. I really like my starry too, and it's a beast, but I use it for different purposes than the v3pro. They each have their pros (lol) and cons.

Cold weather, Xmax V3 pro - yes or no? (or other recommendations?)

I've recently spent days using it in 40F degree weather, and found it seriously struggled. I had to do some fancy puffs to "kick start" it, as well as covering intakes. Obviously an extended session will eventually heat the device, but stuff like a quick puff or two is not possible. Great vape...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

I think in a way it's not fair to judge dosing cap use in the V3 as this wasn't what it was designed for use with. That it fits perfectly is beside the point. I'll never go back to not using dosing caps in the V3, and like the performance with them *at room temp*. Change that equation and it...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

Concur, a lot of the strife in new products can be resolved by firmware being user serviceable. "Oops we didn't give high enough temp for our vape to work in the cold" could be an easy thing to fix. Same with manual screen flips, changes to on demand modes, etc.

I'm curious why that would harm anything. Either you go up in temp and the vape starts heating again, or down in temp and the vape stops heating for a bit. Most devices vary the load on the battery to no ill effect.
