I agree. It’s a crap shoot. Numbers mean next to nothing. I try to find a dispensary or two I like, and if I find a strain(s) and producer that give me the results I’m looking for I stick with them.

Studies typically address health risks as a response to toxic events. In the absence of demonstrated dangers there’s little incentive for research.

Those studies reference BHO and liquified petroleum gas, not combusted butane from a torch. It’s not the same. I’m asking for documented evidence regarding the health risks of ignited butane so I can decide whether it’s dangerous. Have you found any such studies?

I believe that refers to huffing it and not to inhaling combusted butane. Huffing is proven to be dangerous. I've yet to see proof that ignited butane is dangerous. Would you please point me to that information?

I would think that if combusted butane in torches is toxic that it would be highly publicized in objective testing, since butane torches have been around a long time and are widely used. Those risks should be documented somewhere, if they exist.

The conical heater cover is 18mm female, so you’d match it with an 18mm male, including a screen. The 18mm male could be a WPA or, for instance, the conical wand for the Silver Surfer. Of the 3 heater cover options, the conical works the best, since the 18mm female heater cover pairs naturally...

just add an 18mm male/ I simply removed the end section of the LSV and screwed the cap onto the bottom section when I replaced the LSV heater cover with the shorter conical cover from the SSV. The ceramic heating rods are the same size and they are interchangeable, so I didn't mess with them...

I feel the opposite. I think growers are going overboard on hybrids and the flavors are often muddled. I’m on the lookout for landrace strains like Durban Poison, Maui Wowie and Acapulco Gold that have more distinctive flavors.
