Thank you, Rusty, for re-engaging lol... I guess that your unit is unaffected judging by the lack of urgency from S&B to deactivate it... I guess one can speculate forever about why some units are affected while others are not... It's kind of first-class that their web utility could determine...

I've assumed that their first "fix" email was sent to everyone, and their little utility took a look inside and found a reason to recall the units... My question to complement yours is, "who did NOT get an email"? Who's Venty has not needed to be deactivated? At first, I thought that the...

IMO the comparisons to Apple and Tesla are not "apples to apples", as either case has a different product nature: The only way Apple would recall an iPhone would be for a dangerous battery flaw. In which case it's trash in the customer's hands. The nature of the product is throw-away...

It will be hard for me to duplicate the process since I've already bricked mine, but I do know that the link above is different from the link used to pair and alter device settings. One was done and then the other needed to be done after the fix. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Disappointment, yes, understandably... but frustration, no way! Frustration is having to be jerked around about it. You're using the OTHER app... there are two, one is the utility and the other is the "Fix Update". I made the same mistake over and over until I realized the are two different...

Amidst the rain of criticisms and assessments of S&B's course of action, some of which were very good comments... "on both sides, on both sides".... In the end, It will be to their credit that S&B jumped on it and resolved the mistake (hopefully) quickly. It's when they start...

I suppose this means they are only sending a new body, but no CU? Boy oh boy a spare CU would sure make me feel better for all this "trouble".

Yep, got the email too... Fuck. Then again, good on SB for getting on it so quickly.

I'm unlcear on your question; the serial numbers are specific. My SN contains 8 characters, and 7 of them are alphabetic, only one is a number. Whatever system they have, it's cryptic to the outside world. I'm sure they can trace any serial number to the worker; we just don't know the...

FWIW, I registered immediately after I opened the box, and got the email. I did the analysis but haven't heard anything back... I've stated that I've had a rare ERR04/05 code, and BTW since the reset (for the analysis), there's been no ERR codes thrown. The serial numbers are obviously...

Yes, mine is the same. Not sure it matters, since the "missing holes" are placed where the oven lip sits under the would-be hole. Though I've mentioned it is disappointing when these things happen, I have no regret yet... while my Venty has thrown out an ERR04 and ERR05 code rarely, I'm not...

Me too... It's good to see things like this from manufacturers. I'll happily participate! The $30 coupon is a nice token for the trouble. EDIT: Noticing the posts following this one regarding the nature of this new email... I have always believed was a quality vaporizer company simply for...

Yes, thanks that's sort of what I was surmising, that slowing down the air flow so it spends more time in the flower than moving through too fast. Done a few microdoses so far, awesome.

IF I could change a thing or two, the first would be replaceable batteries.... I go through a charge fast because I'm not typically a session type and prefer to rip and move on... and return.... and move on again... So the there's a lot of energy spent cycling the power just to heat it up...

Well I hope you can relax now, because my Venty seems to have the same uneven fit with the CU. It’s very slight, but noticeable. That aside, I feel like they got the rest of it just right

I've had the Mighty+ for about a year and love the whole experience, and took the opportunity to sell it to a friend who is finally moving to Vapetown... Timing was perfect. I was hoping I wouldn't be missing the Mighty if I just spend this much for virtually the same performance, heat-up time...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Looking again at pics I saw on Reddit street, it ooks like if they took the mighty and squooshed in on the sides to make it narrower and taller. IMO I don't mind the 60 seconds it takes the Mighty to heat up; I'm in no rush, but if all the Venty does is heat up faster, for basically the same...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Hey anyone else see this from S&B? They're introducing a new vape with a keynote presentation on Oct 17th. https://www.storz-bickel.com/en-us/keynote I wonder what it is! I just bought my Might+ like 6 months ago and I love it.... I'm guessing it's a "more" portable vaporizer. I can't imagine...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I just got my Mighty+ and also use a Roffu with WPA. I think the same benefits will apply versus the whip, which I also placed an order for, when I don't feel like filling the bubbler. But TBH, while I'm waiting for the Mighty WPA to use with the bubbler, I'm just using the stem as it comes...
