If you have a low tolerance, when you first try it load less than you think you should and stop drawing earlier than you would with a lesser heater. I tried, but I failed on the first draw. :rip:

Do you know what that part is made of? If the steel plate gets hot a metal spacer would conduct heat to the plastic part, and a plastic spacer would just be more directly heated plastic…that could explain the flavor difference.
