I have this and also like the more restrictive pull. It's a great build and weighty. I found no issues with cleaning. The only thing I ran into has getting my 10mm reducer stuck. I ended up breaking the reducer but the bubbler itself was fine.

Are you using the wand? If so, I recommend making your adaptor more shallow. This will help with combustion and also provide more convection.

mine also slightly bends, but the balls stay put just fine. for reference, I have changed out balls 5 times.

It's worth it! Once you get the funds, 10/10 would recommend. Plus, the folks at Camouflet provide great support. It's awesome when a company has great people behind a great product!

I load my bowls exactly like it’s done on the instruction video with no tamp. Half bowl, 535f, until time is up. I usually get twoish reheats and it’s dark brown.
