I heard your click, right before you took the flame away as they said. It’s very faint cause you don’t have enough consistent heat ramping up on the cap. Flame is pencil thin, loud, and very jumpy. I’d go 15 sec past with that to try and get results with that or upgrade the flame. Edit- could be...

Actually used mine last night with a hook. Filled up the 14 bowl pretty good and real low (420) on the crossing tech. Must have gotten 10 or more pulls until I tapped out lol. Had to remove the heater for just a few seconds a couple times when it got too warm, but dam :razz:

My first manual was the 2016 Dyna M. Prior to it, tried to FC with a Vapor Bros unit. The manual ritual, vapor density, and heat made it more like the pipes & Js I was so used to. Next year upgraded to the Omni and rocked that for a long time 🥳

Most comfortable torch I’ve used so far ;) Single flame turned down would be fine for Dyna. I’d imagine it could heat the Anvil cap just fine. Dual flame works pretty good on the Dani caps imo.

Thing is still impressive after having it for a while now. The effective heating, cooling, and a short vapor path make it a beast. Native metal stem on a hook fun :party:

:tup:Actually, I do have XLR types in the crossing tech (not CH) & DC micro. Looks like I’d just need a 20mm coil if I went with the bowl and wanted it heated. Read in another place a cold bowl may be too cold without it?

Nah I’d be using the DC mini or CH controller for the bowl coil.

Have you tried this? And recommendation for a coil that I could use with one of my non-XLR PIDs? ;)

So would the Vulcan Bowl - Omega Adapter be the only thing needed with an Omega kit (not Zeal i'm guessing)? The description makes it sound like a metal bowl option but photo shows no handle which is throwing me off.

Still my favorite and using since Dec. Nice flame spread for this cap. Funny cause it doesn’t work as well with the Fusion. The smaller, triple flame torch does. And vise versa. Sometimes I’ll go with a single on a repeat bowl.

@Radwin Bodnic Ronx dual flame maybe ?Not necessarily pocket-able or quiet per se. I use it on low power flames for the tempest. Bumped up a bit for the TA might work 🤷

That’s exactly it and I didn’t even notice. My support goes to the bottom base whereas the online photo shows it mounted to the middle of the can. Makes sense, more stable.

You really don’t have to. I found just taking the next pull whenever your prefer, is better than trying to figure out your variable readout. I’m usually around 15-20 sec between, but have gone quicker & slower depending on scenario/setup ;)

Indeed. Can confirm and think I have all the linked Dh rigs. For the fc-mod, I recommend the 9 hole stem. The shower head is cool.. but pretty restrictive for my preference. With the slits were bigger. Wish the neck was bent more on this. Usually using extenders to get the bowl away from face...
