    Phase3 Vaporizers

If you use the item in the 2nd photo you'll have a healthy bowl of avb by the time you have to empty it lol.

Microdosing with Phase 3 ZX vs other ball vapes

There's a small dose or micro dose bowl for the Screwball now. Vapvana also have a microdose heater too now. I think it's called the pinch hitter. The small load bowl apparently works very well and appears to be one of Troy & Jerry's most used.

You could always get a joint adapter 14mm male to 18mm female for the zxxl. The 25mm is the outside diameter of the Zxxl or the electric heating coil diameter it fits, it. It's on my wanted list just got to save the pennies now. Thanks for the update and the bowl is next on the list. I just...

    JCVAP "Pockety"

Yeah they work really well on the JCvap ALN peak pro atomizer. They have a high thermal conductivity compared to many other materials used for terp pearls so heat up a lot quicker . As long as it's on and heating they do seem to perform a bit better than other types. Be careful with them though...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I think somebody has designed their own handle and stand which makes the zxl wireless. It looks like the handle is wooden and it connects to the top ofcthe zx or zxl just under the top lip using what looks like shaped spring steel possibly from old battery teeminals, they look about the same...

    TIODW lite ball vape

I changed to 3 mm rubies and that seemed to solve the bowl not getting evening vaped also gem cut rubies worked well i used 2.5 but slightly bigger maybe less restrictive. These seemed to hold the most heat.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Omron just make PID's (the digital temperature controller) They're are now several cheaper makes with Bluetooth technology as Omron are top of the line and very expensive PID units(not sure they're still going or may of changed their name). To make an enail heater you'd need a PID, a solid state...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

They do seem to work well in the Ball Vape that comes with 700 or more 2.5 mm gem cut rubies. Maybe 2.78mm or 3 mm or larger if already using 3 mm ones would be less restrictive but still allowing more thermal mass. I was thinking would a solid zirconia enail vape have more thermal mass...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

That's a very good well made point. I suppose all that radiant heat has to go somewhere . It will be interesting to see if the ZrO2 Zxxl is the ultimate ball vape for both full extraction and flavour as at the moment that title appears to belong to the zx and zxl. I remember the flowerpot...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Although not massive differences every injector style ball vape I've tried has had the edge for flavour over defusion style ones. Although with both the ability to load bigger bowls and blast through them in one go you could be right with that much vapour. Really tempted by both the zx and zxxl...

Microdosing with Phase 3 ZX vs other ball vapes

Good question I'm also looking into one of these. There are some ceramic ball vapes on B2CVape, the Tiodw V3 Ceramic. It's great for flavour but not as good for one and done as the Screwball and they can deliver good flavour at the right temps. I've found the Tiodw Mini Pro (injector style)...

    JCVAP "Pockety"

I've seen Lee from Table Top Bongs testing one and he basically disconnected the atomizer every time holding it by the silicone flipped the lid with the balls in and emptied the quartz herb chamber onto a tray. Connected the atomizer straight back on the pockety and recommended to leave the...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

Yeah I've been looking at that idea myself got a design, just trying to source manufacturers. I think a vortex type flow would be the best as it would allow the hot air to mix better. If not a vortex in the heater one could be created quite easily for the outlet so as the hot air leaves the...

    What is the better PID?

I only got the newer Crossing pid as the Screwball was only available as a complete kit when I got it otherwise I'd of just bought the ballvape and bowl. But I do really like the new Crossing pid. I plan on making some sort of housing for it hopefully with some slots and holes for holding all...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

It works fine although it's better not to let go of the screwball handle while using it with a shovelhead bowl as it isn't as deep so the screwball doesn't sit and stay on as well as with its own bowl. I've also used a quartz bowl made for the NV or now CH diffuser style heaters. The quartz one...

    What is the better PID?

I don't have the original sturdier Crossing Tech' pid but I do have the 2nd and I also have one I made myself many eons ago which is the same style I showed to Crossing and they used a very similar style enclosure. The original Crossing one or my diy one do feel more substantial and have a bit...

    TIODW lite ball vape

I don't with the lite but do with the mini pro which is setup to use with a helical coil so it can be used wireless. Well it's supposed to be set up like that I've just got a stretched normal 20mm banger coil tight around it so it's wired for now. This works well my one gripe is the 18 mm...

Spot on, you just have to swap the pins in the coil or the pid.
