I can get all my rimmed basket screen to fit. I just have to poke 4 indents so the screen kinda bulges on the sides, this gives enough friction to hold it in almost any stem.

I stand corrected. I totally missed that when I took apart the tm2 and put it back together 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I did the straw method without a screen once (with grav upline taster), and never again.

The herb goes into the screen and is held between the screen and the heater. You can remove the rimmed basket screen and use a basket screen to push it further in for more herb. Since the screen in the image has a hard rim, it'd probably deform too much and probably break.
