I didn't see a difference between the 2 covers. I've only had my Q 3 mos. so if they did change the design I probably already had the new design. Whatever the reason, my Q is working better now than ever.

Had my Q 2 months now, of course love it. My only problem was with the PVC whip, too stiff. Ordered Silcon tubing from US Plastics @ $.82 a foot, a super improvement! Now the Q is perfect.

Thanx Stu, Read your post and immediately went to my grinder and ground up the best Skywalker ever into a very fine powder, I hadn't ground it that fine before. I'm giving the EQ 15 min to warm up at 215c and will then try a straight bowl hit before I get too fancy w/an elbow hit...too be continued
