Thanks everyone. This is starting to get complicated with so many adjustments. Is there firmware I can use instead of FJ's so that I end up with settings that don't need adjustment? (And I have no idea what a heat sink is)

I have a heat sink on mine and it raises the deck flush with the battery cap. good to go!

Add a heat sink and you are in business.
