I have no experience with any other adapters of the same type, but this one is very slim, most of the time I dont even notice its there! Unless of course I accidentally pull out out when I remove the stem to clear the vapor
but thats a very minor issue, just give it a firm little twist and push beforehand and itll stay put!

I got it off of Aqua Lab. around $15 for the adapter. this is the exact one
