Tornado by Vestratto

So... I actually searched this thread, and didn't see it mentioned... and I know there are people beside me that have both devices...

On a hunch, I took the top (oven) off of my Dani Fusion 2 XL
Then I removed the bottom of my 14mm Tornado.

The tornado oven slid over the Dani stem like... < insert cliche of your choice >

I then proceeded to see how the Tornado hit thru the Dani stem (e.g.; no WP)
Kinda liked it, tbh.

(Dani Fusion users: make sure you draw *lighter* than you usually do. Way less restriction here, to go with a bigger oven. Stop at first click (2nd one is only a couple sec. later, and that one means 'right damned now!' on the Tornado head.)

Anyone else want to try this and compare results?

Of Note:
- The combo lengthens the unit by approx. 1"
- While I intend to adapt my wand to the Tornado, I used a torch, in this instance.

Too late to edit, so I'll update last post...

The combo is not especially secure fit. More of a tight wobble. It won't fall off using it, but if you drop it, the two pieces will likely come apart (can be 'reassembled')

For today, I'm using the combo. Liking the results.

The kit is great.The wait was worth it!.
I would say that tornado is better than the anvil or the Anvil better than the tornado.
I would say that the tornado is IH compatible while the Anvil need a really powerful IH otherwise a torch is good.

Been wondering the same, this would be perfect for a buddy of mine, but over the past 3 months, every time I've checked, nothing in stock.

I don't feel a marked body high with the Tornado

No clue but, you sparked a memory about bowls / chambers. Who remembers the helix chamber (bowl)? The tornado already smacks but, imagine how it would hit with a little touch of conduction. Whew! I think it’ll give us that stony signature with low temp flavors. We need the helix chamber.

For those in Australia herbware just received new tornados the stash and also the mouthpice xl.
I would say that vestratto will put up more stuff on their site by this month because it matches with the august pre orders they don't have any semptember or october pre orders

Spent some time making sleeves this week. Knocked out a few Vestratto Tornado/Anvil stems and some for the Tempest 2. I love the way that these completely change the entire look of the device.

How does that torch work for you? Not a big fan of big torches so looking for a smaller ish torch to use with the nado. Maybe the vapman?

That one is 3jet torch, its is nice for a quick heat up the Anvil & Nado even still around 30 to 50seconds, There is need for it?None.A vapman or dynavap/honest torch will work great also its kind of easier to tune it with a small torch as take a while longer than the big torch.
I was keen to try the quick heat up that people spoke about for the tornado and its fine but on my opinion not really a big deal tough.

There is no actual difference in the power of the Wand regardless of mode. The "temperatures" are just what iSpire has calculated based on repeated measurements for the Wand being on for a certain amount of time. So just go by the Tornado's click unless you want a less intense hit than what you get at first click.

Surprised their recent manufacturing issues haven't been mentioned in this thread - they had a whole batch of caps, including all those sent to Australia (and bought by a few of my mates) that were wrong, and the airholes don't line up properly. They've addressed it this week on discord, with a commitment to replacing all the caps - which is the right thing to do, it's the only thing they could do.

I guess the disappointment is that there are some pronounced reasons to not be fan of Vestratto who buys all their stuff, but the reason you put up with those factors is because their engineering is usually innovate and flawless. If outsourcing elements of the product is going to lead to major failures I'm not sure it leaves a lot of reasons.

I didn’t know about manufacturing issues and I also wasn’t able to find this on Vestratto’s messy discord. So the caps are being made somewhere else right now? Where? And is it just the Tornado cap?
