This is all true. The lack of communication is really not good business, especially when it's pretty effortless to send emails. They make a good product but their marketing is hurting them.
If your companies financials are tight it can make a big difference to have the money from pre-orders come in a few months earlier than you are going to ship the device. It removes the need to estimate how many pre-orders there are going to be, and you can pay for the production cost with the money from the pre-order sales, instead of having to front the money in hopes that there are going to be as many pre-orders as you paid to be producedi wonder why the pre-orders process with so many vape companies, do this? don't think this is just an exclusive Airvape launch problem. idk it is frustration, indeed.
Thank you.At first I didn't mind waiting but I feel bad for you Dr. G. That's ridiculous, so much so that I think I will be canceling my April 15th order! I emailed them today and if I don't hear back in a week that might be it.
I've only ever contacted Airvape (EU) customer service once, about 2 months ago, because I wanted to order a replacement lid for my AVLP1 (I wanted to mod it to work with S&B dosing capsules, but didn't want to ruin my original lid) and never got a reply. It is very strange the lack of communication I must say....I have never experienced this with him or this company.
top lid for the avlp1 unit ? they don't sell that to public, pretty sure. battery cover lid they do.I've only ever contacted Airvape (EU) customer service once, about 2 months ago, because I wanted to order a replacement lid for my AVLP1 (I wanted to mod it to work with S&B dosing capsules, but didn't want to ruin my original lid) and never got a reply.
I wouldn't even mind if they said no to me ordering the part, since they don't stock the lid as a replacement part and it's clearly not a warranty case. Still disappointed they didn't even bother to reply
Yes, I know, at least they don't stock it on their website where you can order the other replacement parts. I was hoping they might be willing to sell one to me if I contacted them, and I would have been perfectly fine with getting a "no" as reply. But not even replying to the email is a bit rude, and worries me if I ever do have to make a warranty claim.top lid for the avlp1 unit ? they don't sell that to public, pretty sure. battery cover lid they do.
I will say this, they’re responsive wrt warranties. I’ve gotten very good service from them in that regard. They’re just absolutely shit at rolling out new devices transparently. But there’s far too much company fetishism in the vape world to begin with.Yes, I know, at least they don't stock it on their website where you can order the other replacement parts. Thats nice to hear, especially since they are (to my knowledge) the only manufacturer advertising lifetime warrantyI will say this, they’re responsive wrt warranties. I ended up snagging an hr 2 to hold me over since I already have a bunch of lobo accessories. It was mailed to me fairly quickly. Just thankful to be vaping and not smoking again. The glass G3 might be worth a look. It's $40 and apparently the flavour is good

Correct. Forgot the rouge parthr rogue 2?
Yeah this was a consideration with my previous comments that the only reasonable explanation they aren't sharing about delays and issues (beyond a cryptic reply from Gary here) is the potential financial strain from a wave of cancelations. If your companies financials are tight it can make a big difference to have the money from pre-orders come in a few months earlier than you are going to ship the device. I ordered caps about a week before I thought I was going to get the device. They were here in about 5 days. Still don't have the device and I ordered on 4/15.Maybe that is the trick. I ordered on the 15th, and nothing yet. Last word was it should have gotten here sometime last month. Maybe you have to call to get moved up the list.
I’ve never owned a device from this company before, and if this is an indication of their customer service, I don’t know that I want too now. I forgot to order dosing capsules when I ordered the device, and now I’m wondering if I do order the caps if they will ever get here, or if a device to use them in will ever show up.
Pretty disgruntled so far.
hmm...I'll be curious to see if the reason the orders are being sent out at a snail's pace is from manually/individually fixing the cork bubble-ups from the first batch... and then the rest are delayed in China as they fix them over there... one box at a time.I received an email with tracking number today. I ordered on the 15th in the us. For what it is worth, I did receive the dosing capsules very quickly when I ordered mine.
could be but maybe is a problem with personnel/quality control, shipping dept. that's what got out of Gary's later posts.hmm...I'll be curious to see if the reason the orders are being sent out at a snail's pace is from manually/individually fixing the cork bubble-ups from the first batch... and then the rest are delayed in China as they fix them over there... one box at a time.
I think it's entirely possible that the first batch was a small "test-batch" and they went ahead and sent them to reviewers/influencers/the earliest pre-orders...
