I hate that site. Every single link in the article is self referential, linking to another Marijuana Moment page.

Here are a couple of studies:

Cannabis use is not associated with altered levels of physical activity: evidence from the repeated cross-sectional Belgian Health Interview Survey
Conclusions
There was no evidence suggesting that past-month cannabis users have better or worse physical activity levels compared to non-users in the Belgian population aged 15–64 years.

Association between cannabis use and physical activity in the United States based on legalization and health status
Conclusions
In the U.S. adult population, current cannabis use is significantly associated with higher prevalence of physical activity. The prevalence of physical activity is significantly greater in U.S. states and territories where cannabis is legalized for recreational and medical purposes (vs. not legal). The association between current cannabis use and physical activity is not significant in areas where cannabis is illegal, but significantly positive in areas where it is legal, more so for legal recreational cannabis. When asked the primary reason for using cannabis, physical activity was not generally associated with cannabis use for medical reasons but for recreational reasons. Where cannabis was used to improve the physical activity experience, it may be to improve their focus and enjoyment, or to enhance the mind-body-spirit connection and improve recovery by improving sleep quality and lowering pain. Finally, lower physical activity among those people with chronic medical conditions may be ameliorated in some cases by cannabis use.

Thanks for citing all those different studies it is very helpful and helps promote the article's premise.

I totally disagree with you on the usefulness of Marijuana Moment as a resource. Their primary objective is Advocacy and that is why i subscribe to their news feed. They have the most up to date information on legislation and other related stories with regard to Cannabis.

While I don't subscribe to their paid feed i would find their information useful if i was working trying to help get legislation passed. The links they provide are all to other articles that they had run on the topic of cannabis usage and exercise.

I recall sitting around getting high with friends in the late 70s and discussing the topic of legalization and none of us ever dreamed that cannabis would ever be legalized and if it was it would be the tobacco cartel that would be raking in those profits. So this topic i watch very closely.

This article was related to a study conducted by NuggMD (an industry medical services company) . Their methodology is clearly stated in their publications that they produce a valid study. The myriad of studies (some we have discussed on here) frequently handle this topic poorly and unfortunately these bogus studies become the basis of anti-cannabis proponents. Legislators with zero experience and a strong anti-cannabis bias will latch onto these bogus studies and use that as the basis of their position.
