The angle of the mouthpiece combined with the size of the device seems a bit awkward.

The hit looks really good though.

Not sure if i would spend the money for this to switch from my peak pro.

Well I caved and purchased one from element vape. Modul, dok, and glass for about $280.

Gotta say I am extraordinarily impressed so far. Probably gonna order another 1-2 concentrate tanks as back ups, I’m pretty much splitting my use between this and the switch 2 right now.

Finding ideal temp is highly dependent on material/strain/etc, even more than other devices I’d say. Seems like anywhere from 490-580 is where I usually land.

Would def appreciate any tips and tricks from more seasoned users!

Gotta say I’m disappointed with Studenglass right now. I did buy a second tank, and things were fine for a bit, but now whenever I start a session and it finishes coming to temp, the modul is canceling the session within a few seconds.

I reached out to support, they asked for a number of photos, a video of the issue, and proof of purchase. After supplying everything they asked, they recommended a reset which I tried and then informed them that it made no difference. This was the response I got from support, and I find it completely lacking:

Another disappointing update from Studenglass:

"Thank you for sharing this information! I noticed that in both videos, while the Modul was heating up, the carb cap was being twisted and touched. Since the connection is quite sensitive, this might have affected the performance. Could you please send us a similar video with the carb cap completely removed and not in contact with the tank during the heating process? That would really help us out!"

For the record, theres only one video, and I only "twist" (as in, use the cap) AFTER the unit has come to heat. I asked to escalate the ticket and called out the mischaracterization of my video. But it's not looking like Studenglass is willing to provide support for a faulty unit.

Despite my initial recommendation, can't say I would still recommend it. Support here makes puffco look accommodating (ime).

After a little more back and forth, Studenglass offered to send a new concentrate tank out for me to try, and asked I follow up if that doesn't help. Judging by their language, they then may replace the modul unit.

I'm happy to try a free tank if that's what it takes. As long as they, and I, are doing something to further the matter, I feel a lot better. I tried my first tank out and I really have to move the cap violently so the magnetic seal on the tank lifts. It's not perfect but definitely much better, so maybe it is an issue with this second tank, but fundamentally it feels like my unit is very sensitive. Which with a little searching seems to be a common complaint.

Ultimately I'd recommend this unit if you can take advantage of a heavy discount, like element vape has/had. But at full price? Between the support difficulty, premium cost, and common complaints, I'd stick with something a bit more reliable.
