Excellent vape, maybe Camouflet's best. This deal is, more or less, buy a super cap and get a full vape plus mouthpiece for $20 more. I have a good handle now on DV but how is this different?
Convector XLs are also 'pay what you can' for a short while!
With a DV you heat the sides until the cap/bowl reach the temp for the indicators to click. It's radiation and conduction primarily and the draw is tighter. It has a characteristic stoniness. The CXL shares the quick heating and cooling of a DV but you can do different things with it. I usually have my CXL on a WPA and I just fire a Firefox torch straight down on the top of the cap until it glows, give it a second to equalize, and then test pull. It's got much more open airflow and like and injector you're pulling air through a heated matrix and then the herbs, controlling by breath. You can also heat the sides for a conduction hit or near the top corner for a more hybrid hit. The Super Capacitor is similar to but can hold heat a little longer than the standard cap. The CXL is totally manual but quite easy to master/use. It's like a TED but more open than many, it'll need a reheat, and it feels more like a convection vape than other TEDs.I guess I don't really understand how this convector thing works. Nice! Hope you enjoy it!That is a fine deal. I had been debating where to go next after cutting my teeth on DV. I was thinking either this or Dani Fusion 2. This sounded more intriguing so I pulled the trigger. Thx for the explanation and recommendation,
