nice car, a have a 440xi gran coupe (old style) and an older E36 325i BMWs
yes it is tricky to do
Wife had a 2001 BMW 330ci convertible with a 5 speed manual transmission. This was also "Sunday" car. Sold it to my neighbor years ago for $5,000 (had about 56,000 miles). He is still driving it. This car was flawless. Just did the required maintenances.

florduh,
Mine was quieter, and I'll chalk that up to more than the 1mg Xanax (Rx) I took. Just didn't seem like there was as many fireworks (and we had optimal weather). Tonight will be round 2 (always less than round 1, unless a rain date). I also didn't hear them gearing up through the daytime in prep for the 'big show'.

Reason(s): I'll chalk it up to economy. $50-100 doesn't get you as many chinese-made whiz-bangs as it did, last year? Other than that...

Fireworks around here went on until about 11pm. Couldn't see them but sure could hear them. We like to watch TV on our screened in porch. Couldn't do that last night.

Bazinga,
One thing I like about the holiday is that I can really work out my audio system. This past year, I was able to score a vintage pair of B&W 802 floor standers, and had the crossover networks redone. What 'outside'? There's an 'outside'? Not in my world. Not tonight.

Ps. Just kidding, mushrooms taste gross🤢🤢🤮.
For me it depends on the type of mushroom, how they are prepared, and what accompanies them.

Used to pick field mushies with Dad back in the day, this particular day over ate on them dipped in mayonnaise and we made a batch of mushroom gravy.

Pigged that too, then spewed😱. Haven't been able to eat them since. Actually i do like the tiny champignons in an apricot chicken.

What's your go to dish of fungi fellas?

As I mentioned I sometimes enjoy mushrooms. I forgot to mention I can't stand mushroom soup. The smell makes me want to gag.

The best mushroom dish I have had recently is oyster mushroom tempura with mushroom salt and tempura sauce. I was not sure how mushroom tempura was going to be. We ordered a second plate. That said, I love mushrooms in any form from raw to dried.

Unregulated Tendencies
I was in Japan just before they closed the loophole on magic mushrooms (used to be legal to sell/hold them but illegal to eat them).

Backpacked through the Chubu region, armed with many baggies and copious cc’s of vending machine “super vitamin C” drink.

Never realized how many shades of pink/green there were in feudal Japan. Nor how many complex geometries can be found in cafe food. 🤯

To this day, citrus and mushroom flavors evoke complicated feelings whenever they overlap.

somehow i don't believe these mushrooms are the ones you think they are?
I personally can't stand culinary mushrooms. I want to like them. But I just dont.

Those other mushrooms are nice though

The little buggers are bloody everywhere at the spots i know of, the whole of fungi season has been 5 to nearly 6 odd weeks late. The cooler temps were in the zone but we had had stuff all rain to get things started but it's all good now.
