There is no better on this context, there is different preferences and experiences I see them as a complementary to each other and both are great efficient tools to use for extract the vapour . Madheaters is thousand times better with the customer care service than simrell by my own experience, if you need choose one I would recommend the Tempest.
The T2 is more versatile OMHO which you can regulate how you want to use it, regulating the air flow so you can have a bong/DTL experience with it open wide cap or you can have a joint/MTL experience with half open or 1/3 from the cap that will last many mtl puffs.
At beginning I disliked the simrell cause it cools down really quickly with make quite upsetting in comparison to the tempest at this perspective MTL however the bong/DTL experience with it is amazing, feels like the extraction of the vapour is quick even and efficient reminds the anvil but with less time heating it,It is versatile with the use conduction heating more the botton then convection heating more the top Ive used it mostly on the hybrid mode, If i want conduction I go for a dynavap hiperdyn If I want convection I stick to the tempest or TA3/TA4 .The long intercooler unit from the t2 is long as much the tool cooling unit from simrell.

Where do you see the differences from tornado to tempest 2?
Simrell bowl is about half the size, so the rips don't pack as big of a punch compared to full bowl T2. But it's still a solid piece for lighter rips / great flavor tasting. And I really like how there's no o-ring or any replaceable parts with Simrell. However, T2 seems to be my main driver, at the moment. Sends me straight to the moon with a single heat up, every time.

I really want a Simrell and even had a few hundred dollars fall into my lap but after reading more and more in depth reviews. I’m gonna try and abstain from VAS for 2025. The Simrell is definitely on the top of the list for my 2026 VAS budget haha.
Also considering my current arsenal, I’d rather wait until Austyn catches up on inventory and pick up a gallery piece with a unique burl sleeve at some point.
But fuck I’m jealous.

Vas is real but also each of them got one signature different with the same goal.I like them all and try to use it on rotation too, even tho Im taking the t2 with me daily.
I would say that the simrell is a great treat to yourself very efficient and stylish tool, Between my the vapes collection this one is the one which does not look like a pipe or a smoke thing which in some places its relevant OMHO.
The simrell shines on the OHE,DLT/bong style , quick and easy. It cools down quickly and smacks the face, the snap discs are well calibrated to a golden roast I like my avb to be brown to dark so I add the TI sneaky pete half bowl and now my avb is always as I like it.
A unique piece its always a unique piece, about the sleeve Ive asked after Ive done/paid for my order for the simrell and a intercooler tool I've contacted simrell collection asking them to add a silicone sleeve on my order, they forget it then Ive asked for on another e-mail and Ive been ignored...Kind of shit customer care apart the good product tho.
