Dani Fusion by Battery-free Ganz

Anyone tried this??
No, but it does look very similar to the 'Rocket' cooling stem that's used on the Tinymight 2, IMO. So a lot of my thoughts below will be based on that, accurate or not.

I opened the link, but didn't see where this fits in -- right behind the oven, or after the stem, replacing the mouthpiece -?

In either case, to drop it on anything but a carpeted floor is probably grounds for breakage. It's why I don't use the corresponding one in my TM2 -- not enough extra cooling to risk the extra glass / stepped down neck, while also being more difficult to clean than the 'missle' stem (which can be opened / emptied.)

Personally, I can / do hit my Dani (w/ long wooden stem) natively more of the time, vs even using it in a WP.

Outside of a more ergo mouthpiece, I'm ok with the functionality of the one Dani I have, and wouldn't really be looking for more cooling, via this item. But if one has a short wood, or metal stem Dani, they might be interested, perhaps?

No, only in my TM2, where its cooling fine, but eating some flavour and is really annoying to clean (the drying process).
If I want more cooling with the fusion, I'm using a 14mm jhook, with glass balls and a 10to14mm glass WPA. Together with a thicker oring from a vaphit, it fits and works sufficiently.

Do you have a rough estimate as to when the cap will be available for purchase?
Sorry for the late reply, I've been a bit busy lately with some unforeseen events. The stock of SUS430 IH Cap should arrive in early August. The online store will be completed by then. The price will be €35. Stock will be limited to 100 pieces. If sales go well, I might consider producing more later.

I'm really satisfied with the quality of the latest revision. Factory did a great job! I can't wait to start selling and to see the feedback from users

I hope this problem is known and you can point me to a solution.

Although both air holes are open and the tube isn't blocked there is no airflow at all once the cap is fully screwed on.

The top of the "oven" where the herb goes is pressed/sealed against the inner top of the cap. I'd bet your bowl needs to be pressed/seated fully down into the part the cap screws onto. If it's a couple mm up then it will hit the top of the cap. Your cap pressed it down as far as it could when you screwed it in, but that just means it made a perfect seal.

If not that, then something is out of spec and you need to seek warranty service.

Unturn the cap a thread or two and make sure your bowl screen isn't fully pushed down just a tiny bit up.

I figured but as it worked flawlessly before and the device is rather new I didn't feel comfortable with it. Thx nevertheless 😊

Exactly! I fiddled with the bowl the night before, tried to pull it out of the counter part... All is fine.
Thx a lot for your help 👍

Ive Had a few days to mess around with DGn'R induction cap and i have to say it's a worthy upgrade if you own an induction heater. I've found that around f415 until time out a good spot for 1he or close to it with the wand. I've been using a silicone dab container as the insert, and it's been working great. I own 2 wands, and the dani with induction cap wouldn't fit the top of my one unit, but just barley in my other. I was surprised how fast the wand was heating the new cap. I use my wand with the tempest exclusively and this cap on the dani heats faster than the tempest, which was a huge surprise. The machining is clean. There are also less threads on the induction cap. You can tell a lot of thought went into this cap. In conclusion, if you own a wand and fusion two, the cap is a must have upgrade imo!

Thank you for the feedback @kegstandman420!

induction cap wouldn't fit the top of my one unit
As indicated, the cap has the same diameter as the original. Therefore, if your DF2.0 with its original cap does not fit from the top of your wand, it is unlikely that the SUS430 IH Cap will fit (although with the silver rings on the original cap, the tolerance is greater (and sometimes it doesn't take much for it to fit in)). But, you can still use it by inserting it from the bottom, it will be the same (the performance will be similar, it's just less practical). Unfortunately, I have no control over the wand, and even if I reduced the diameter of the cap, it still wouldn't fit completely through the top of the reduced wands because the shoulder tip would prevent it from doing so.

Have you got a link for this?
Sales should begin very soon; I am currently awaiting stock. I will include a nail file with each cap, which is very useful and helps keep it very clean. It's not much, but I find it very useful (and can be used in many other cases). This one works wonders for removing residue from the silver rings on the original cap. It has become an essential accessory for me here.

Each cap will be cleaned to ISO 99% and will undergo an initial induction heating process to remove any remaining residue. It should be ready to use as soon as you receive it, but you can always give it an extra clean.

And thank you for your generous trading @kegstandman420 🙏

Great stuff, would love to try this. Apologies if this has been answered before, but does this cap work with the Fusion V1 as well?

Thank you for your generous trade as well. And the cap not fitting my one wand wasn't criticism towards your cap, but more of a heads of for people to check their wands and that there can be slight differences from one wand to another. I just dedicate the larger wand for the dani, and the other wand for the tempest 1&2. The cap is perfect for the wand imho.
