Simrell Vaporizer

Had the simrell for about a month and overall I’ve been loving it, but I have run into a weird problem the last two weeks and wonder if anyone else has dealt with it/knows the way to solve it.

First two weeks I had the device no issues at all. Recently, however, I’ve had this issue where the herb in the chamber becomes super packed down after the first hit to the point where I can’t pull any air through the device at all. At best I can get half a good draw off a fresh bowl before this happens.

I’ve experimented with everything: different grinds, different temps (I’m using the wand), filling the chamber to various levels, different draw strengths, but nothing seems to fix it. I have noticed it’s slightly less of an issue right after cleaning the chamber with iso but after the first bowl it’s back to the same problem.

The weirdest part to me is that this wasn’t an issue at all the first two weeks and it just started happening. Anyone know what could be causing this and how I prevent it? I really like the device and the vapor it produces but at this point it’s almost unusable because of the issue.
I think I have the same issue. All of a sudden, my herb is getting cooked. But none of the vapor will make it into the stem. I tightened it and now I've gotten vapor to produce again, but no more clicking. Gotta say this went from being my second, her third favorite vape, to significantly lower on the list because of this issue

I think everyone will have the same issue because suction causes the thermal capacitor to unscrew.

I'd bet it's the click disc impacting the thermal mass, bumping it over time back down the threads.

Are there plans to sell just the stem eventually? With the upcoming drop I feel the extraction engine is in my price range, but the complete device is not. But goddamn if the new stem isn't sexy as hell, and I'm a sucker for the idea of collecting the custom sleeves in drops

I am currently working on building inventory and hoping to have the vortex stem available separately next month

Make sure that your thermal capacitor fully installed, this should solve the issue your having. If it doesn’t, please send me an email at contact@simrellcollection.com and we can look into this further

Let‘s see if @asimrell can shed some light on this issue.

Depending on the draw speed and how fast you spin the device, it can move the thermal capacitor if not securely installed

My apologies for the delay. I don’t frequent FC much, I’ll work on frequenting it more often. If anyone ever has any issues, please send me an email so we can get it addressed in a timely fashion. I’m here to help.

Can only speak for myself, but no apology needed, and struggle to see any delay anyway. Thanks for showing up and proposing a solution.

After having checked the tariffs for buying a Simrell from Europe and waking up from fainting, I thought,I ask here if there are any plans to distribute them somewhen in the future directly from Europe.
I asked Austyn this question during one of his Twitch streams, and he said yes, but not for a few months.

Hey friends, I’m in an analysis paralysis rabbit hole and would love any insights into my conundrum!

I have the engine and am trying to decide on optimal stem pairing.

My choices are down to:
- wood stem with spikey glass insert but no condenser.
- xxl trww condenser in an xl wood stem.

I want the great flavor with the glass but am a little wary about getting too hot or too wispy. Total ramble, but any thoughts appreciated!

I normally use mine on a regular modular vortex and I really don't feel much heat. I tried it now with a non-spikey glass-lined Aezhen stem and it's great--hardly any heat at all.
