Yes
Some news in bulk here about SUS430 IH Cap and 8/9mm adapters, I received the final samples after a few last-minute changes and everything is perfect now
The modifications also concern 8mm and 9mm adapters, I finally decided to add more insertion depth (is now 11mm for both adapters) on the female side to ensure that the adapters will accept all current vapes (and also probably future).
For the length on the male side, I opted for the standard DV length for the 8mm and the standard BFG length for the 9mm (to ensure that they fit correctly into the stems (even with condensers, intercoolers, etc.)).
Both retain the default DV or BFG O-rings, and each has the option of adding a groove-free top O-ring to add a gap between the adapter and stem (e.g. to avoid transferring too much heat directly to the stem).
Both can now be used as bowl reducers for a TM stem. I added a 45° chamfer on both adapters to allow better steam circulation and also to avoid too much recovery on flat surfaces. They also have a shoulder to accommodate a screen without blocking the flow too much:
So, for example, with the 9mm female to 8mm male adapter, you can:
1. connect any 9mm male interface to an 8mm female stem:
2. connect any 9mm male interface to a TM stem (must be compatible with cooling unit):
3. use the adapter as a bowl reducer on a TM stem (must be compatible with cooling unit). I'm planning a few more options in the future to use the internal 8/9mm male interface to offer more cooling options:
4. use the adapter as a receptacle for a 510 drip tip (on any 8mm or TM stem):
5. and you can also create an 9mm female to 9mm male heatsink (or 8mm female to 8mm male, just invert the adapters) by combining an 9mm adapter with a 8mm adapter (you will need to purchase both):
6. and many other possibilities.. such as using adapters to hold beads or connecting several stems in series, etc.. it offers a very complete ecosystem!
Regarding the SUS430 IH Cap, the thread has been reduced by half and offers faster screwing and unscrewing (it probably makes screwing easier too) and less thermal lock. Here are the differences between the old and the new:
Everything now seems really perfect!
SUS430 IH Cap should be the first project to see the light of day (adapters should be available in the following month (I am currently looking for a reliable supplier of O-rings and screens to create a complete packaging)). I should be ordering stock in early July, which shouldn't be long now. I'm currently working on the online shop (I try to offer as much detail as possible) so that you can place your orders without having to send me a private message (to avoid overloading me (and also to speed up the process) and to preserve your privacy). We don't use any AI and our Swiss-based host is very respectful of privacy, there's no user profiling and complies with European standards
Stay tuned!
Cheers!
