I do not care if someone is in America "illegally" and neither should you. No offense, but if you do care, you are a little baby with a baby's brain. Watch this instead of Fox News. You'll be just as entertained.

I just hear someone say "politics attracts weird people"

I really don't know what to think about this as if it was weird people it would not be so bad.

Is more like politics attracts control freaks.

I know a lot of people don't like him, but Roger from Puffco posted on his Instagram, "what happened to the cannabis community? We used to speak out about injustice?"

He goes on to say, not too long ago, weed was illegal everywhere in this country. So, it's very stupid for cannabis users to say, "the law's the law" when it comes to immigrants not having proper documentation.

His comments were full of dumbfucks saying we need to round all the ILLEGALS up. How fucking stupid. Especially when talking about Federal immigration enforcement. Cannabis possession is a Federal crime. Do these people believe the Feds should kick in THEIR door and shoot THEIR dog because "the law's the law"?

In the Free State of Florida possessing any amount of cannabis concentrate is a FELONY if you didn't pay the State a tax and buy the concentrate from a licensed dispensary. An immigrant not having documentation isn't even a crime. It's a civil infraction, like a parking ticket.

If you want to be a "the law's the law, round up all them ILLEGALS" dummy, fine. But you have to completely quit weed if you live in America

If only that were shocking. It would be interesting to see the same polls run again in 2025. I suspect even among white people there would be a significant change in the numbers although probably not as much of a change as we who eschew bigotry would like to see. Truth be told, this is a pretty good example of why direct democracy is not always a good idea. For choosing representatives (senators and congresspeople) I favor direct democracy and the removal of the Electoral College, as that was a system that no longer serves us. But those representatives are (supposed to be) better able to look at the bigger picture and make decisions for the nation as opposed to their localities and their own personal interests.

It's been common for a while to be against all the wars except the one that's going on right now. And to be for all civil rights struggles, except the ones currently happening.

The Iraq War was very popular in 2002. Pretty much everyone you meet now will lie and say they were always against it.

Those polls were only white people, but I take your point. Part of the problem is the news didn't just start being fake in 2016. It has been the whole time. Local news especially loves acting as stenographers for cops.

The news is calling these protests serious riots but from everything I am seeing it is 99% peaceful and 1% rioters who then maybe turn another 1% into non peaceful.

The thing I wonder is the small minority who are starting trouble foreign agents or some right wing groups? or just drunk people fed up of Trump?

I am from the UK guys so sorry if any of the above is inaccurate, just this si what i feel like am seeing. It is deffo not as bad as the media is making out am sure.

They should have just left it to police as they are the best trained for crowd control.

If you think the history books are going to remember the protestors as the bad guys here, you haven't read a lot of history:shrug:

It is always the cops who turn these things violent. 100% of the time. There are "agent provocateurs" among protestors who are there to give cops an excuse to escalate, but most of the time they don't need an excuse.

You'll see opportunists and looters too. But yeah, 99+% of the people there are peacefully standing up for their neighbors who are being torn away from their families for no good reason.

Even giving them the maximum amount of charity, what benefit do cops provide society? Collecting revenue for the government and begrudgingly filling out paperwork for insurance companies? Garbage men are about a million times more useful
