Camouflet Ceramo XL

I always use manual mode like an electric lighter, touch the cap to the glass to prevent spinning while heating, start gentle draw after 5-6 sec/flashes get vapor at 10-12,
LET GO OF THE BUTTON to stop the magnetic field so it doesn't pull the cap off and you're rollin!
timing depends on ambient temps and weed moisture levels

just need to have a new wand routine with ceramo i guess.. but it does work well at what it's made to do in the end.. maybe get into the habit of removing from wand and tap tip super quickly somewhere on wand to push it back down a quarter inch haha.. i use triple torch 99% of the time with the XLs so never noticed that behavior (but def heard the newer cap make whine/buzz) .. need to introduce some imperfections to the stem tip surface somehow to make it less non-stick.. some micro abrasions

that's why I touch it to the inner glass.
I said it already, but in my opinion that shouldn't be necessary.
My guess is the zirconia is so smooth/polished and slippery contact with stainless may have been an unforseen issue.
I think this should have been noticed on the first day with the first prototype at the latest, assuming the prototypes were mirror polished. I didn't even think about it when purchasing because I trusted Camouflet, but the moment I had it in my hands I was thinking, "wait a minute, this is a pretty slick surface for a friction fit".

I mean, they just need to fix their device. It seems like they rushed a significantly flawed vape into production.

I wonder if one of delta 3D's larger basket screen presses could make a basket screen that would hold nicely. Just got one for my Nano XL and Terpcicle and love it.
I guess that's what I'm using from the enano XL adjustable Stem, the mesh weed basket holder does perfect, I had the same issue as you did. I was mad and I actually bent the screen in half trying to make it fit, Enano XL SS weed holder basket works perfect and fits better IMHO till my two new screens come with my Zirconia mouthpiece when it arrives, soon hopefully getting VAS just hearing about how good that new Tempest 2 with the Balls holds the Heat with Milky hits..

Don’t have any Camouflet stuff, but know it works with my Dynavap tips. Out of curiosity just checked with my OG Anvil and hot damn it looks like it’ll work with the diffuser end!

The supplied lighter really is not a good fit for this vape. A double or triple flame is required, or a much bigger single.

The bamboo case is also not very practical. Mine arrived broken. A leather case is a much better idea, then you can carry it in your pocket.

The vape itself, I have been exclusively using with a torch. My wand has the v1 tempest adaptor in it and I need to remove and replace with the v2.

I took this vape, a leather case and the supplied lighter on a trip to the dam. I struggled to get it hot enough. However I had lots of low temp hits that where very nice.

At home I have used a bigger torch. When you heat this vape right, the hits are flavour town +++. The high has a unique signature which is rather pleasing. Hits are very good.

However coming from portable ball vapes, the heat does not last long enough for me, even with the super capacitor. Its a lot of effort to heat right, and the reward is great, but after a while tiring to use. I tend to switch to something easier, after a while.

I'll try it with the wand soon, and see if I get these weird experiences others have.

I've considered that also, I wonder how much it varies, and how it relates to power output. Because the timings I have used seem fairly consistent with other people's.

Yeah I don't want to have to do that. Would common sandpaper even work on the zirconia?

I doubt it but it's possible. The replacement came with another cap also but I haven't tried it because I wanted to keep it as unused as possible while resolving this issue.

Sure, here's the video I sent them:
I just set its visibility to public
