I'm not new, I've done all the tricks. I think the problem is there's no shelf for the screen to lock into. Not a good design imho.

Yup same issue. I started using the top of a Lobo dosing capsule which works well.

I wonder if one of delta 3D's larger basket screen presses could make a basket screen that would hold nicely. Just got one for my Nano XL and Terpcicle and love it.

Once it bent up I couldn't get it back in. Again, not a greenhorn with parts. I had a spare from something else that worked thankfully.

After some testing, I must say I love this thing. Until T2 comes, this has a perfect place in my rotation

I agree. I liked it from the first go but I admit it's growing on me even more. I can get three big tasty hits from a full bowl with near perfect extraction every time.

My wand timings are now 16 flashes for the first hit and 11 flashes for reheats.

With the Super Capacitor, I do first hit 17 flashes if I want it hot, 15-16 for lower temp. Then 8 blinks when vapor stops and ready again :freak:

Makes sense. I'm guessing you only need 8 flashes for reheats since there's so much more thermal mass in the SuperCapacitor.

The Vaphit glass intercooler is really great at taming the vapor natively and it'll be my solution for native hits although I have to be really careful of the fragility. With 15 flashes from cold I can get a one hit extraction with a perfect brown roast and great flavor.

I did hear a bit of squealing again during the heat cycle but the cap stays on, perhaps because I always lean the Ceramo against the side walls of the Wand's glass to keeps my hands more steady. The hits are big and airy. I used it as a WPA again later in the day with great results too. Overall I'm happy with the new addition.

Yup. It's part of the vaphit DNA glass stem kit. I posted some pictures of it a bit earlier in the thread.

It's working really well for me but just be aware that it didn't quite fit for another forum member who had the same kit. Must be some differences in the tolerances when the glass is manufactured.
