mod box availability and prices

I haven't been here in a while and less so logged in, and posting. I've not been vaping because I'm kinda stuck out of my preferred vape, but this post isn't for that. When I had some money to burn a while ago (a year or more), I bought a splinter off of the classifieds here. I haven't used it because I had a vape I liked, and because I have never had a box mod. Now they seem to be "sold out" everywhere online. Well the ones I found suggested here. Let me know if there is something good online for not too high a price. I searched for the DNA board ones and found none in stock or they were well over my budget e.g. $2-300 for a box mod seems way too much to me (or more accurately, for me )

A local smoke shop had some. They were overpriced (but willing to give me a deal ) two smok branded one was morph3, not sure of the other, two geek vape branded, one L200 and another T200, then a Vapoo m100s, and lastly a gene TT drag 4. Unless any of them are good ones no longer found online, and from a quick search they don't appear to be, then it's back to the drawing board but correct me if I'm wrong

What do you think about Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3

Sorry these are all new to me. I have an early ecig that is a steel cylinder with one button that used to power a 510 atomizer but it was just like an old flashlight but with an 18650 battery. Pressed power was on; not pressing off. So these are all new to me

Lol okay. I may try that fuchai one. I'll search a bit more. Since it's been over 10yrs for me, might you have battery recommendations.? Also was yours that 177w?

Yes…the 177..I get batteries from imr…always have.

I bought the fuchai one. We'll see how it does. Mainly it'll be for home. I had to get gold, it was all that was left. I know it doesn't matter but still, the 5yo in me was disappointed

Yes …that’s the site…I buy /like molicel…but all the batteries at this place are good and reputable…I’ve been using imr for over 2 decades…

If you're all good flying with wattage mode then you don't need to spend a lot on a mod IMO. Spending 30-60 is possible, I went a bit more with my last mod purchase because it looked so good

But I'm looking at buying a new side-by-side mod and found one for £33 + delivery.

DNA mods are highly rated and highly priced, I've never used one but I'd rather spend that money on herb, cheaper mods have lasted me years.

And for anyone that wants to see the last mod I bought

It cost me around £80.

Mine was about $50 but 64 with shipping. Won't look like that I had to choose gold which wouldn't have been my choice. What vape is that? Love the look. Still looking forward to trying the splinter I got from the classifieds (quite a while ago)

Great was looking at those. They had two under 18650, but one has printing saying not for vapes

So I guess I'll get the other

Yup it is, mines a walnut one. I bought it to replace my Stempod OG after losing it. I love the Splinter but the Stempod and the Dreamwood Glow are a bit more compact so better for on the go use.

My Dreamwood lives in one of my bag pocket's.
