Tornado by Vestratto

I've never experienced thermal lock until I started using the wand. My cap did come with some blemishes so maybe they are not just cosmetic. Or maybe my wand's magnetic field is turning the cap clockwise!?? I know nothing beyond heat, pull, great clouds, screw off and dump out.

Perhaps I'm putting it on too loose?
Keeping an allen key nearby isn't thay big of deal.

I've not had a heat lock on either the anvil or tornado yet. Wand and torch...

I have to say I'm not so impressed by the hit. It's heavy, sure, but not any heavier than any other of my big hitters, it's very similar to the anvil, just a bigger bowl, still not that big though. All the hype was exactly that for me... Shoulda known I guess, all that baseball's Vs basketballs bullshit!

I completely understand your point.
As for me, the Tornado is my first vape of this kind.
And compared to my two current ball vapes (the ZX and the Hornet), it’s not more powerful than those two.
But it’s amazing in its own style, and I really enjoy its unique signature, which is also different from the other two.

There’s also something very special about this Tornado… it’s the smoothness, and its ability to fill my lungs with ultra-dense vapor like no other vape I’ve ever had the chance to try in my life.

It delivers a very unique and intense kind of hit.
And it’s also really cool to have such a powerful vape without being dependent on a PID and electricity.

I've tried ronxs single and double, blazer big buddy, and wand. I don't have much accuracy with the big buddy though. All 4 seem very similar to me.

Is it normal behavior for a new Tornado to only click once? I tried torch targeted at bowl and Wand @300c until timeout (from below as my Wand is too narrow otherwise) multiple times each.

It does! I don´t know why people say it doesn´t.

I removed the condenser from the USA and just used the adapter. It doesn´t go all the way in but it works flawlessly.

Use this at your own risk, without a condenser to secure the oven to the USA, the oven is very likely to fall off while hot when reclaim builds up on the orings like it does after a few hits due to the design of the nado.

Yes this is normal, there is a break in period, as you use it more the clicks will separate.

I finally got my pre-ordered Tornado a month late. I‘m not a fan of the wpa Tornado so I tried using the USA adapter and it worked ok and didn’t want to destroy by cutting off the air flow part to make it fit better. While I was considering to order the Scuffywoofer adapter I found a easy solution with the SS Mighty/8mm mp adapter. The Simrell ti adapter doesn’t work as good as the middle flange doesn’t fit into Tornado like the cheaper SS adapter that precisely fits into Tornado for added support. I put 3 Vestratto USA orings and a smaller oring kept in place by the adapter orings(2 large orings work great, but added the other 2 for more support). Have done several bowls with no problems and is very secure. The adapter was $8 at Vgoodies or Recommended Vape and I had the Vestratto oring kit for the USA.

The Tornado so far has me impressed compared to the Anvil, finally get to taste the herb. Doesn’t fit in the V-Wand or my new Wand from the top, but my old Wand(with cracked glass) works great. I’m getting 55-70 watts with the Flare and seems to work pretty good.

Try it with a torch if you haven't. Tornado is terrible with the wand. It burns off almost all of the weed before you hit it. The high is average.

With the torch the effects and signature are top notch.

Hi do you have a link on RVS please ?
I expect it’s this one:

I used the same adapter hack in my pic further up on this page. Works good. I used a Dynavap condenser o-ring (the squared off one). It’s not a perfect fit though. It’s a tad too tight and the o-ring gets squished too much, but that’s better than too loose I suppose. I’m sure the o-ring I used would get torn after disassembling a bunch of times for cleaning though. Been using it nightly for about a week, and no issues so far. Definitely a great way to go native with the Tornado, for cheap.

That being said, I also have a Scruffywoofers Tornado adapter on the way to me right now. But for the time being, the Mighty adapter hack is working good.

Again...you are wrong. You should check yourself. Seriously man. This is false for anyone who is checking out the Tornado. Please ignore this statement!

For all checking out the Tornado. Buy it. It's great. I think it's better with a torch. But that's fine. To all those happy with the wand, that's fine.

But to people like I originally responded to, don't write off the Tornado until you try it with a torch also.

No drama needed. Let's move on.

@Cheebsy Just noticed you said you tried with the torch. My bad. I can only recomend a bigger flame, hit the atomiser for first 10 seconds. Then aim halfway up the bowl. This always gives me excellent effects.

I've had the tornado about 3 days. I am not a huge consumer mainly 1-2 bowls at night time to relax and help with sleep. Last night I ran the nado then had my Hyper on a bb6 ran them both through a small dry bong for comparison. I have to say I am not terribly impressed either, at least initial impressions. Taste was not as good and not as large of clouds either.

Pretty sure it is a technique problem, I have only ran 3-4 bowls as well. Just using the wand, as that is what I have preferred with DV's which are my only butane vapes. For torches I have small single flames or the harbor freight micro torch. I think I read on here many years ago that's like a big shot knock off, at least that is why I bought it. Can someone link me to a video or post showing heating technique with a similar torch? Or am I just putting the nado in the wand too deep? Going to almost the intake holes on the nado, as I think I saw pictures of that on here or reddit a week or two ago.
