I can fit the Bowle, normal and stubby stems, and an Altoids tin with 8 pots in it. Completely smell-proof.

I'm still catching up on this but I've never had a pure convection device before and the 10 or so pages I read drew out enough VAS to get me to place an order while the 420 sale is still up. This I really hope is the last one for me until later this year

How bad is the ambient odor on the device? Should I be looking for something smell proof to store it in empty while it's clean to relatively clean?

I didn't see much about accessories needed other than maybe the stubby stem which led me to order the silver edition bundle that included it since it was the same price to add the accessory on its own.

I never clean the puck, but clean the pot and stem after every sesh. I'm quite sensitive and smell virtually nothing.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems quite odd that the main add-on for a vape with very limited accessories is so difficult to get hold of (for us Europeans at least).

But good news: after having asked around about it I received confirmation from VapeFully that they have ordered it and will stock it separately going forward. Estimated to be available about a week from now.

I was lucky enough to have a TB2 to borrow for a week...
Imo, it's a complete DHV, well thought-out, simple to use, powerful, easy to clean. A nice surprise.
Like many people, the only thing I don't understand well is the design, but hey...

I wondered what it'd need in terms of leather accessories, and then in fact it just sat on a leather tray with its everyday useful accessories and it was fine.
I don't know yet if i'd like to get one for me, mainly because of the price, since in the end you get used to the design and the device.



About the leather tray :
The leather is formed in a mold before being cut, sanded, abat-squared, dyed, oiled, polished and waxed on both sides for an even, soft yet solid finish.
Handcrafted with care. Clean, seamless design with no rivets or snaps.

Do you simply throw the pots in iso, or how do you clean them? And what about the stem?

I'm new to the Bowle, after each use, I simply empty the bowl, and get out the flower as much as I can. And the stem I wiped with an iso qtip once

If the bowls (with the rubber seal) and the stem are safe to dip in ISO, that would be great. Then I can simply let them soak overnight once in a while

We just discussed cleaning like in the last page or two. And multiple other posts in this thread on the topic of cleaning.

I'm glad you are enjoying Bowle, and I don't want to sound nasty, but the whole (original) reason for these specific vape threads is to build a knowledge base. Its frustrating when folks don't take advantage of the resource.

It depends how clean you need to keep the stem and pots. After 1-2 loads, my bowl starts to build a few crumbs that won't let go. A brush will get most crumbs, but not all. However, there are so few that I call it good until the screen starts to build more gunk than I want. This takes about 10-15 loads for me. This is when I soak the pots in some iso for 30 min or so, then rinse with hot water and they are perfectly clean.

I've only soaked the stem in iso once so far. It doesn't bother me if the stem builds up a light film of reclaim. In either case, they recommend not soaking the mouthpieces or the silicone gasket around the pots iso. I have ignored this recommendation and will replace these silicone parts if they ever degrade, as I don't soak in iso for very long.

BTW, a tip that works for me is to heat up the iso a bit in a glass cup before adding the pots. Anything dropped in hot iso will dissolve faster than cold. Just be careful when heating iso.

Because they're dealt with immediately, they just need warm tap water.

Again, nothing personal. For anyone who has just spent over $400 on a new vape, I would suggest reading or at least skimming this whole thread.
Or maybe as @Shit Snacks has often suggested, start at the end and read backwards for a while!

If you are cleaning that frequently, you won't need to soak like that, and I would not recommend soaking in alcohol overnight, just a short soak is all you need and a little safer for the materials (mainly the o-ring)

I didn’t see anything, but is there a way to check or calibrate the temperature? I know it’s smooth, but on the highest setting I’m not over cooking herb, no coughing, decent, but not thick vapor. If the max temperature is as hot as they say, shouldn’t I be at least charring the herb?

There's no way for users to check the calibration, that would be factory service.

As a new owner it may be that you need to fine-tune your draw (assuming decent material and good level of charge on the battery).

Because of the full convection aspect, it's better to do a long, slow draw -- and note that the strongest part of the hit comes toward the end of the draw. It can be helpful to take little side breaths of air during the long draw, so you don't feel "out out of breath".

I hope it's something easy like that, and that you don't have to do a service thing, sucks on a new purchase.

There are no design differences between TB1 and 2 about this "feature", no increased hollow spaces to protect the heater so, drop it in the ground from the table of your kitchen just once as I did with TB1 (1 meter drop), then your coil will misallign and you will char your herbs, with hotspots too.

In the end I couldn't resist the temptation and after reading the entire thread for the second time, I couldn't refuse an offer of the Tafee V2. It will arrive at the end of the month I asked for it with Potter v2.

I was just reading it and I was going to tell you the same thing. I spoke to Vapefully and they told me they would have it available, but in 1.5-2 months.

I'm thinking about buying the same bag. How is it working for you? Is she padded enough to put her in a backpack and not worry? I had thought about getting into bowle v1 and v2, do you think the 2 would fit? Thank you.

I take this opportunity to ask some doubts as it has not been very clear to me.

1. So it is confirmed that the pots are equal in v1 and v2? I saw that Vapviking commented that the difference was o-rings of different thickness. I understand that then the v2 pots next to those o-rings would not be worth it for v1. Could anyone give the measures? In the Tafee store the O-rings are sold out and do not differentiate between whether they are v1 or v2.

2. I know that the first model of bowle v1 used the Quick Chargue 3.0 protocol, I always loaded it like this for fear of problems and today 4 years later it has not given me any problems.
Do you know if tafee v2 follows the Quick Chargue 3.0 protocol? It is a delicate protocol. Since you can have a powerful 45W charger for example, but if it doesn't support Quick Charge 3.0 you won't be able to charge your device at maximum speed. I see that in the Tafee store the one they sell for V2 is also Quick Chargue 3.0, but I don't know if they sell it because it's a requirement or simply because they have stock of the old one. Some of you have commented that being USB C no longer had so many requirements, to see if anyone can give light to the subject.

You could try a reset if you wish. I posted the instructions on pg 213.

I had offered these thoughts about pots and orings a little while back;

There have been 2 sizes of orings. delivered on pots, and I've received both size orings in orders for new Bowles, 1 and 2.
I happen to like the fit of thinner rings when using Bowle 1 and the thicker rings with the 2.

Aa far as I can see, the difference is in the little spring loaded retainer ball built into the puck. It grabs more firmly in B1, this is why thinner orings are fine. The ball is looser in B2, so the thicker oring seems to work good, make for a snug seal.

On the topic of charging, my main takeaway is that Tafee really wants us to use the supplied cord, and so I do.

At home I still use the Adapters I have, that came with Series 1. But I'll also use a generic adapter in the car cigarette lighter, or others. But I have tried to always use the supplied cord, maybe just superstition? Idk...
