What vapes can give that hit like the Supreme V3?

@weedanwine
My Supreme V3 is giving funny readouts when heating so it seems like it could be on its way out. I've not used any other vape which hits quite like it! So wondering if there are any recommendations for other vapes that can hit as hard as it does?

Although it would be nice to fix the Supreme, it is also a bit awkward to use so finding something to fill that niche which is more user-friendly would be nice.

TRWW's Quartz Cap is a hard hitter in my experience, a manual vape that can deliver huge, delicious clouds. It competes with the Supreme.

It is a heavy hitter but it's convection whereas the Supreme is hybrid it feels like to me.

None. Supreme is GOAT. Whole intact nug goodness. This should be the future because fuck grinding.

Also your sv3 is likely just fine and needs a new battery. Nice to see people are still enjoying this beast! I wish someone copied it and/or made it even better. I think @JCat was contemplating, but then perhaps there were patent infringements or just not worth his time these days. Good times!

Hard to find online right now but it's this:

Isn't the functional part of the Supreme just an inert heatsink hunk of metal? A massive thermal battery? That temperature readout addon always seemed like an extremely cheap component, and not something I'd expect to last forever. Granted, temp readouts like that can be super cheap because it's such an established technology.

What I'm saying is the Supreme will probably outlive you, but the digital temp device probably needs a battery (as mentioned) or to be replaced. No fear!

I hope that one day someone remakes the Supreme, it’s the only desktop vape that has really appealed to me. The v6 especially is a bit of a vape grail for me. Would love to own one of those.

I’ve heard some people in the past say that the Vestratto Anvil feels similar in terms of effects? Might be worth taking a look at.

OK not clear from the photo above or from these instructions https://www.docteur-vaporisateur.co...preme-v3-vaporizer-vaporisateur-portable.html how it works?

why is this your favorite vape?

So the Anvil is a bit similar, and I've been close to buying one many times but I've held back because I don't think it's quite right for me. I'm curious about the Tornado and would be nice if anyone with that vape also had a Supreme to compare.

So it's not exactly my favourite vape, but it has a unique hit that is perfect for bedtime medication. It's a strong hit that feels quite balanced between head and body high.

In terms of usage though it's awkward so something that is more user friendly with a similar hit would be ideal.

Obviously I’ve never owned a Supreme but I’ve owned all three Anvil ovens and now the Tornado.

The Tornado is awesome. The bowl holds somewhere around .3 max and it chews through it in one heatup easily and consistently. It’s a strong hybrid vape with satisfying head and body effects. Haven’t tried it with whole nugs yet but I’ll give it a go after work. Can also use IH like the wand which heats it up for a one hitter quitter in about 20-25 seconds.

If you like heavy hitting hybrids it’s worth picking up simply on its own merits IMO.

Will stick around and hopefully someone with a Supreme to compare chimes in. Would love to know how the Vestratto stuff stacks up to it!

The Anvil can scratch the itch for a Supreme imho, even if it's not the same.
I'd say the Supreme experience is more easily repeatable (thermometer) than Anvil's but after getting the Anvil I didn't use much my Supreme.
The high of the Supreme is... supreme, especially if you consider being able to obliterate 2x loads per time on the Supreme v3 dually.
An XL bowl on the Anvil is not the same but I never grabbed the Sv3 after a .2 bowl because I wasn't high enough. But vey often I loaded that XL bowl again and again. Well the Supreme is not moreish, for me, after 1 (dual) session I was done.
After the Anvil I got the Venty, which I like a lot better than the Anvil. I am a strong fan of the Venty and biased, but that repeatability (and more) and high dosage permitted by the Supreme is very easily achievabale (imho) with a Venty: using max airflow and max temp from the start you can achieve similar monster hits without any of the downsides (hot exposed parts).
I agree it’s apples and oranges but the Venty is the first vape after the Supreme that enabled me to vaporize high dosages daily, easily and without cough.

I've never owned the Anvil but have owned multiple sv3's and Venty's and could not disagree more. Not even close and apples and oranges IMO.

Both the Supreme and the Venty can obliterate a 0.2/0.3 bowl in a couple hits, both have decent flavor even if the materials they are made of are just plastic and aluminum, both great heavy hitters imho. If you vape large amounts they are great and the Venty is even more versatile and easy to use. But I agree that they are apples and oranges.

I made a video to demonstrate

And this is the AVB

I think what I love about this vape is that I can heat it to around 350° F and get this level of extraction after 2/3 heat cycles.

Every other vape I own can't do extractions of this level at lower temps.

Almost there...
@simba

I have to agree with @biohacker here and say the Supreme vapes are the GOAT!

However, if I had to suggest a vaow to take over from your Supreme, it would the the @invertedisdead ZX vape!

But then I see you like the hybrid effects from convection and conduction, so you are most likely still using the tube for loading.

I prefer full convection hits and have not used the loading tube for years now.
Here is an old video showing how I use it.

And here is one using the ZX.

And a quick one showing how effective it is!!

I still use my SV4 daily alongside the ZX, they have been my daily drivers for years now and have never let me down!

Just to add to your odd temp readings...
Depending on how old your SV is, you may need to adjust the placement of the temp sensor on the stem or replace the battery as suggested!

I sold my supreme after picking up an anvil. Not because it was better particularly, or even the same… just smaller, easier and similar, and the supreme wasn’t getting used (literally hadn’t used it in a long time).

I kind of regret selling it if I’m honest, but I still don’t think I’d use it much.

I’ll say this though, the supreme is THE vape to pull out when that random combuster comes out with the old “vapes don’t work on me” line.

Edit: I’m pretty sure you can pick up the whole white temp gauge thing online. It’s just a common part so if the battery swap doesn’t fix the dodgy readout, maybe look at replacing the whole temp gauge thingy..??

You sold it to me! 😁😁😁
But honestly if you really wanted it back I would be open to discuss.

I do need to investigate changing the battery tbh.

Whilst the ZX seems like a great vape, I'm never buying a vape with an exposed coil again. I've had enough burns on my carpet and me 😂 I'll stay with my log vape to fill that niche. Dropping my Enano into my lap whilst stirring my bowl is something I could never do with a vape like the ZX 😂

I know

It’s a very kind offer, but if I bought it back I’d still end up not using it no doubt.

If you do want to sell it, get it working and list it, you’ll shift it no worries. You wouldn’t believe the amount of offers I got for mine/yours… it was insane, really.

I don't want to sell it, but in your case I would because I know what it would feel like to lose it out my collection 😂
