Anvil vs Tempest

Hi everyone,

I recently gotten back into my dynavaps after a few years and thought I might check out some of the latest offerings in that style of vape.

I’ve narrowed it down to the anvil or tempest.

I was hoping that someone who used both could compare them for me. I’ve had a look at both threads but don’t really have the time to read through them completely. I know that the anvil is more conduction while the tempest is more convection, so I am leaning more towards the anvil as I already have a few convection vapes. Although I think the tempest looks better and would feel better in the hand.

I was hoping for comparisons between the two in regards to ease of technique, ease of loading and ease/frequency of cleaning. I will be using a torch but am not adverse to getting a decent induction heater. I have a pipes IH for my dynavaps but don’t think that it will be big enough or powerful enough for either of these. Also, I will mostly be using it natively, very rarely through a water pipe if at all.

For context, I vape daily but only about two or three bowls a night. Other vapes I own are dynavaps, venty, phase 3 ZX, freight train, sticky brick OG, splinter Z and torch elev8r. I mainly use the venty recently.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

A bunch of threads comparing these vapes:

These threads also touch on this comparison and similar vapes:

And I suspect folks will add a bit more color and updates here.
