MiniVAP Vaporizer

Very interesting. But the site ("post") is password protected, I can't read it...

Yeah my guess is it is still under construction but might get accessible soon... I only found it randomly while browsing the store :). Hopefully we will hear some news soon.

I remember someone brought up a rumor of this literally years ago, a much smaller version of the MV that was more powerful. I had kind of written it off, but im not shocked it took them this long with how fast they usually move. I am pretty much all in on dabs now and have WAY too many flower vapes, but I will for sure buy a new MV product if it drops. Their quality is just too high.

Oh nice sounds like that rumor might become true after all, but we will see. A smaller but more powerful MV sounds VERY tempting indeed :D

I cannot resist placing an order in the coming weeks, perhaps when they start shipping.
I admit, I never like the feel of 3d printed parts though....

Can anyone point out exactly what is the difference between the Model 2, and a Model 1 that has been upgraded to the latest core and USBC?
It is clearly an improved, smaller and lighter form factor, but are there other notable differences- specifically are there major performance differences/upgrades?

I noted this is available on Backorder, does anyone know when they will be shipping?

The description offers an option of picking your accessory, but I don't see the opportunity to choose an accessory when checking out... anyone else have this issue?

What a great news, looking forward to getting more details about this new model before ordering.

It seems to be the same core housed in a 3D-printed body, making it more compact and lightweight. Hopefully, we’ll get more details soon!

I think its the newest core in new, smaller body, and its plug in only with usb-c.
So it’s not portable, needs to plugged in? Are there any power banks that can produce that much power for this new Minivap?

Looking a bit closer, I think I am inclined to pass on the Model2.

Instead, I think I am going to go ahead and update my core, battery and power adapter... the cost is roughly the same after shipping, and with its awesome battery, I really favor MV as a portable option.

Downward spiral
I was just on the MV website seeking information on updating my old MV/battery/power puck and I see at the bottom of the "checkout" page...a Florida, USA address. ? I am going to assume this means no longer having to send it to Spain? Which is what I swear I saw last year(maybe longer idk) when I checked about upgrading. This is great news if so. It was like $272 (plus shipping to FL) which seems super fair to get my beast up and running again. It's my favorite walk the dog and also porch sipper.

The MV site is a bit weird. If you want to buy it looks like it delivers from Spain but contact info and everything else is Florida? And no official news or information about the MV Model 2 even though it looks like you can already buy it. Is the company even still operating? :uhoh:

Just to be clear , it seems to be a plug in desktop vaporizer?
This one has to be plugged in, yes. Next version will supposedly also work with power banks, which would make it a bit more portable.

It's quite a weird direction for them to take to be honest. I personally think it falls very much in between categories. Still looking forward to the reviews though, I'm sure it'll at least be well-built as always! Just wasn't what I was expecting.

I was just asking if this can be used with a power bank

So got the mv2, and have to say im super dissapointed. The new material its made out of feels really cheap amd you can already see it kind of disintegrating onto the flexicones when you first put them in. The accessories make no sense and the manual they sent along is for the old minivap and does not adequately explain what they are or how to use them. I was expecting big things but this is just a worse version of the og imo. Pretty sad stuff

I new the latest offering was not for me, but it does not dissuade me from upgrading my OG.

I hate the feel and finish of 3d printed products, all of them. I am not surprised to hear it does not feel great in hand.
Cut the cords, its a portable!

Reached out to Minivap about this and this was their response:

Hello [Razhumikin-real name redacted],

Thanks for your email and comments about the small particles.

After checking on the microscope, we can ensure that is not disintegration but some raw material that was not correctly clean.

Although the some questions were already asked to the manufacture about cleaning or providing a proper process for cleaning, these are our comments:

- to release the power, use a damp cloth for the external case, you can help with a teeth/nails brush, but don't use directly water on it. For the lid, you can use a damp cloth or directly the teeth brush in water.

NEVER USE alcohol or any solvent (like acetone, isopropyl alcohol and so) because you will release the black color and you don't really need to dissolve anything, just cleaning the raw particles.

Cleaning should release the particles almost in a 100%, but keep in mind that:

- the air-path is the same to any other MiniVAP. This means that the air path is isolated/clean from the air intake until the loading chamber and it can't be contact between this and the inner side of the external case. The only risk that we case see is when you open the lid and any particles could fall into the loading chamber, or because touching the plant/load with dirty fingers of particle that can migrate to the plant/load.

If you have more questions or concern, please let me know. We really really appreciate you telling us this problem.

Best, Victor
