Does everyone mostly use the stock nipple stems for the modular CC pieces?
Any aftermarket recommendations for whip and non-whip options?

Well technically nipple only refer to the tip of the mouthpiece, inside is dimples indents or spikes, but I prefer to call that a narrow sipper mouthpiece... Anyway you can use any whip adapter, or other type of adapter, easy to find those from a variety of sources and cheap from China etc. You can get custom-made stuff or some ready-made, mouthpieces from Oregon glass blower, Texas hot glass, GooRoo, Rogue Wax Works, Good Vibes Boro, vgoodiez might still have something? With the right adapter you can use a lot of different options, that's what I do

I'm also a big fan of the TAG one - I use it with my Protege v1 and sometimes my Influx.

I picked up a couple from DHGate which were similar to the CC ones, but with the mouth part flattened. I find them a lot more comfortable than the CC ones, but still think the TAG does a better job of cooling.

For a whip, I'm using a 90' glass piece adapter to the hose, and the mouthpiece from my old DBV :-)

Yesterday iDB mentioned there will be a drop of glass on the website. It will be around 6 pm Central Time, for those who are interested. :science:

Man, that’s 1 am here… 😭 I had several sessions with the Terpcicle today so there’s no way I’m not sleeping when the drop is going to happen.

Hope there will be some pieces left tomorrow. Really need a Color Prophet…

They are my preferred mouthpieces by far. I use them with anything with an 18mm mp joint.

Totally agree with the OGB, GVB, and TRWW recommendations. But also this one from TAG is surprisingly good:
Wonderful, I appreciate the recommendations everyone.
Looking forward to trying the stock dimple MP and picked up the TAG to start off with :science:

Thanks for the heads up @Grass Yes , was able to snag a pink mini Influx!!

It will look real good at my main dab station, especially if I pair the my pink Dante on the flower station!

Still lots of good pieces up, including color ashcatchers and dropdowns, and color V2 Protégé. Unfortunately (fortunately for my wallet), the pink V2 is a 14mm, still something to hope for :)

ETA: Aqua Lab Tech is another 18mm option, haven’t used it on any CC pieces but I like it on others. Looks like out of stock at the moment:

Wow, so many beautiful pieces! No Prophet though… Yet the Protégé and the Vertex look very appealing too…

Many pretty color protege, it is really nice, effective smooth versatile with good flavor and flow... that clear Vertex is also unique double swiss egg four hole chugger... Dante available too for smooth bloop stack...

I'm still trying to convince myself that I really need a Protégé. The around $200 price tag is quite different from $40 on DHGate...

With my current pieces, I have a bit of an issue where I end up with quite the sauna on my forehead when vaping the Terpcicle. The design of the Protégé seems to solve this problem. Can anyone (maybe @Shit Snacks ?) comment on how close the vape is to the face when using the Protégé?

Those all look awesome. :brow:
If I wanted one for dry herb, with something like the Zeal or the ZX..
Which would one of those would be better ?
The protege v2, profet, influx, vertex or dante ?

I don’t like restriction very much..
Thank you

The Vertex is the least restrictive and it retains the flavor and sweetness.

I vote Vertex. One of my favorite pipes. Open and a nice chug and great flavor. Cools very well.

Yeah vertex is pretty open, prophet as well without water, protege is smooth however I wouldn't really say restrictive, go for 18 mm, influx is also pretty smooth really... Dante I'm not 100% sure on the flow, vertex has four big holes for the perc although the Swiss becomes part of it, resistance depending on the water level too, can't really go wrong

I would like to buy a Prophet. But the odds of this happening (I live in the UK) now feel vanishingly small.

They will be back in stock again eventually
