Does anyone know how much the station will cost?
If I remember well, the Swiss station was about 250-300€ (tax excluded).
It still can be found here but now at 490 CHF... Which is definitely too much.

independently of production cost, retail price of the Italian station should fit within today's market. I think that a package (vapman + station) over 400€ won't be competitive enough in front of desktop alternatives. Even in the 250-350€ price range you can find really fine and well performing desktops.

I hope the station alone will be around 300€ 🤞

Hello Vapman team!

Great to see this thread active!!
I have a question...
I had already noticed that there was a little oil above the grid... it was very light on my walnut OG version...
with my version in olive tree, it has become quite an important phenomenon...

with each use, I have to prepare a q-tip to clean the residue generated by use...

I don't know if it's because the wood is lighter and it's more noticeable.. or more likely if it's because the grid is less well adjusted to the wooden part and the oil flows more easily...

but it's irreversibly staining my unit so if you have any advice, I'll apply it as soon as possible!

I share two photos to give you an idea!!

Thank you in advance for your advice,
Happy vaping everyone!
I believe that’s just charging from the heat. Once it’s “seasoned “ it’ll stop.

Unregulated Tendencies
Great video by TabletopBong.com
Inspired me to fire up my neglected pear Classic for a quiet Saturday afternoon in with a book and some jazz. Haven’t vaped good hash in a while.

It really is an elegant experience. Have so far spent my time admiring the clarity of the sky and listening to the birds chirping against a light hum of city life. Mission accomplished. ✅

I have seen this with a friend, he had the tendency to overfill the pan and his
homegrower grass is also constantly much too frosty. (First growers-world problems :D )

What does it look like inside the middle piece?

I have the same problem and I admit I may have the same habits as your friend.:)
However, I've always thought that the problem was due to the wood of my basic pear being very very dry.
No matter how I pack it, after the first bowl the middle piece seems to soak in oils (especially on one side).
I'm surprised to discover that even new units (with a different wood) show this issue. Maybe some wood chunks are drier than other, who knows?
Would be great to hear from Michael and David (or maybe Renee) @vapman about this.

In my opinion, it has nothing to do with the wood treatment, because it also occurred
on earlier Basic models, which do not have linseed oil varnish on them.

It is pure condensation accumulation of, just much too good grass . :D

What can perhaps be checked is whether the middle piece, or the filter, sits snugly on the pan.
Sometimes I forgot to insert the ring when screwing together after cleaning or had inserted it
the wrong way round (pointed side up is correct).

Often it can be an advantage not to screw the filter piece too hard and to have some play inside the holes,
so that it can tighten to the wood when the middle piece is put on.
(maybe someone with english mother tongue can explain this better...? ;) )

I am the beetle in a box that only you can see

I've been using my olive wood for a year or so, and it's still not seasoned - or at least the oily reclaim keeps oozing. I've had a peek inside the central post - by removing the filter - and there's no huge deposits or globs of gunk. Not sure if it's ever going to stop, even though I only really use my Vapman with the sieve (for both flower and solids) these days, What's annoying is there's no obvious way of putting this reclaim to any use.

I’ve been using the Simrell airflow actuator for about a year now. One of the positives of using it is it collects all the reclaim. I personally don’t use it, but do I like that it keeps my middle piece clean.

Im finally getting into my Vapman. Bought it last October but only took it out now that the weathers nice again. Been using it with hash on the sieve(?) screen. The short heat up is pretty ideal. Flavor is good. Modest vapor production per toke but of a nice density so it's satisfying hits. Plus the little box is lovely and works great for portable use.

What a lovely post...when I am in Italy it is so perfect outside. I have my coffee and a sfogliatelle, I don't know...it is just amazing and so wonderful to look at it.

I think that's one of the AFC MPs:

Out of curiosity, what do you mean the glass mouthpiece won't fit?
