Guys got quite a flo goin there, in that bitch, you know umsayin?
And so blessed, this shit bought mom's birthday dinner!

I'm just jealous I can't get faded than a hoe inside the restaurants. He was able to fog up that Burger King because he was doing blinkers on the "Plug n Play". That brand extracts their fake terps from taxi cab cherry air fresheners. I can't fog up the BK with the rosin pods I use because the vapor smells like dank. So the Karens would get me kicked out, u feel me?

If my lawnmower had a gps-tracker it would clearly show signs of me being baked with the first bowl of this season's Sativa...

When i had to refuel i noticed how i had cut out a complex pattern of X's, triangles, circles, lines and squares in my lawn instead of the usual boring straight lines from right to left....
I was baffled and couldn't comprehend what i had been doing. Did i loose it???
But while contemplating over this i finished the bowl of fresh Amnesia and seconds later it all made sense again and i just carried on, stupid grin sculped on my face...

Hail Sativa, dank THC queen

Gunsmoke episode is on with Leonard Nimoy / Spock as the lead character.
His early years…
Love that one. He is such an evil baddie in that episode! The early years B&W Gunsmoke episodes have so many great guest-starring actors that went on to be TV or movie stars. A young Burt Reynolds was a cast member for a few seasons and put in solid work with Dennis Weaver before good ol’ Festus rolled into Dodge. I remember as a kid watching Gunsmoke, all the main cast were older and had been together for years but I’d never seen those old old seasons until my forties. I was amazed how dark and “realistic“ those first few years of thirty-minute episodes are, (especially for the late 50s!) they’re all scripts from episodes of the radio program which ran for nine years before television was born. Much heavier than those from late 60s-early 70s, man that show really ran forever. Thanks @MinnBobber for that random thought!

I used to watch mid-60s Gunsmoke with my Grandpa. Now you've got me imagining him raging in online forums: "Gunsmoke has SOLD OUT! The powers-that-be are trying to shove this mamby-pamby pablum off as the Real American West! Festus is a RODEO CLOWN!!!"

Congrats to LAFC on winning the MLS Cup! That was probably the most entertaining championship game I've watched in any sport.

Yeah that's the thing. The point of the blue check is to make sure the guy posting as Anthony Hopkins is actually Anthony Hopkins and not some random asshole. There's no way to turn that feature into a revenue stream without rendering the whole site even more useless.

The richest, and therefore the smartest, guy on earth spent less time researching a 50 billion dollar purchase than I would for a $50 purchase.

After last week's CPI numbers came out, the deadhead media proclaimed that inflation is over. What were the numbers?

October inflation was 7.7 percent higher than last October. The market rallied. Really???

Inflation continues to rage out of control. 7 percent inflation is not acceptable to anyone, except perhaps to Jerome "it's temporary" Powell.

Don't worry. The Fed is on it. They have said multiple times they are trying to force a recession. Why? Because it will cause mass layoffs. Laid off workers will then be forced to accept lower wage jobs. And that will magically fix inflation. This is literally what neoliberal economics teaches is the solution here.

Except wages aren't what's driving inflation. And this is real sicko shit since the price of housing has skyrocketed far more than wages . No, at least half of what is currently being described as inflation is just simple price gouging by corpos. If they accepted the same after-cost rate of profit they enjoyed from 2010-2020, the inflation rate would be 50% of what we're experiencing now.

Corpos get away with price gouging because 1) the media keeps squawking about inflation. So businesses can just use the inflation excuse to engage in a little light price gouging. It helps that the entire media is controlled by corpos. They're all looking out for each other.

And 2) we've totally given up on the idea of anti-trust. Every product at the grocery store comes from like 3-4 corporations. There's no competitive pressure to help drive prices down.

I understand costs increased due to the pandemmy. But the corpos passed all of those costs along to consumers. Then they increased prices even more and pocketed the money.

Ultimately there's nothing to be done about this though. The corpos own enough of the politicians to ensure they're never reigned in. We don't really have public servants. Only private servants. And they serve the people who are price gouging you.

We hear that all the time. The Fed is "trying to force a recession" by increasing interest rates.

Yes, a recession may result from higher interest rates. But that's not the purpose.

There is no easy fix to the runaway inflation that's impoverishing all of us. We are still in runaway inflation at 7.7 percent. Our money is not worth what it was before COVID and near zero interest.

The only way to slow the devaluation of our worth is to slow the free access to money at near zero interest. And end the massive treasury purchases after the pandemic began, which finally ended this spring.

Higher interest rates will cool spending. We may have a recession, but doing nothing will only continue to fuel inflation and impoverish all of us.

(Obviously Jerome Powell, who is not a trained economist, realized this far too late.)

Powell might not say he's trying to force a recession. But he explicitly said the goal of rate hikes is to drive down wages.

None of this will cause the small handful of corporations who produce the majority of our consumer products to stop price gouging though. They are taking a higher rate of profit than they did pre-pandemmy. Most of them will straight up admit to this on investor calls. The value of the dollar going up wouldn't change that dynamic.

We're literally rewarding the people driving "inflation" by forcing a recession so they can pay their workers less, now and in the future. Arresting wage growth will pay them dividends for years. We're also rewarding the people who built a global supply chain on thin ice, another major driving force behind the higher prices we've been paying.

The benefits don't stop there. After you get laid off and are forced to accept a job at lower pay, you won't be able to afford your own home. So you get to rent from Blackrock. They're already on their way to owning every single family home in the country, and a wave of foreclosures will only grow their portfolio.

Higher interest rates will cool spending. We may have a recession, but doing nothing will only continue to fuel inflation and impoverish all of us.

I know this is the Econ 101 answer. It just seems so odd to me. People don't like "inflation" because it makes it harder to make ends meet at the end of the month. The solution? Force a recession. Which will also make it much harder for you to make ends meet at the end of the month. Assuming the Fed fuckery works as intended and your wages drop.

Maybe that's the only way to handle it in this economy. But then, IMO, this economy is a fucking scam where "A I win, B you lose".

Back to Random Thoughts.... honestly Kanye should've been going after The Catholics.
