@Shit Snacks on the timer pcb I have now there is a power on LED and another that lights up with the countdown display when the IH is on.
The smaller pcb has no LED but if it does the job I'll add 2 of them. It's also adjustable up to 50 seconds.

Would this device be boiling off terpenes and cannabinoids while heating up to temp?
Again this would depend on heating technique. Keeping the flame towards the top of the heater matrix means less heat is transferred to the bowl. Unlike in a VC where you heat the bowl itself.

@felvapes thats the idea one heat application. I misunderstood your post and thought you meant a one hit wonder.

Yea I was maybe a bit stoned and didn't type it coherently enough too lol

I meant one heat up yea
I see the joint experience you have in the videos
Although I do like that it only seems to need one or two draws on a bong also with one heat up

@TheThriftDrifter there's not much in it.
The TA bowl is 10mm in diameter to present more terpy surface area to the incoming heat.

Ran a couple of weed bowls, for science and all that. The heater matrix behaves differently when held vertical. I think it's conducting heat through the matrix and adding more radiant heat. I opened one up before toking on it and you can see the top layer of weed is catching some heat.

Steady progress and I'm still on track for a November release.

Can I buy a tip and cap yet? 😋

AN & 4wks of Hydroponic BudSwell (2 more weaks)
ok I can see it now! there's about an Inch gap between the place where you heat, and the chamber, but, while you heat the metal, it conducts heat to the bowl.... it's kinda hybrid, very interesting to try.... it's like the Anvil? the bowl is Ti and the upper part is Copper or something else?
Oxidized copper?

November, it seems
👍

Both seem to perform well
The big one on the left appears to be the frontrunner
Unless I'm just stoned (I mean, I am stoned)
The slimline one is a SS prototype of the upcoming Ti version. They both perform well just differently. I'm keen to get some testing done on the Ti version when I have one.

Oxidized copper?
Funnily enough copper oxide is highly toxic.

That Slimline version is right up my alley. Nice vid!
Thanks, the SS one has proved the concept and all being well the test team will have some Ti versions by end of this year beginning of next.

It's made from Ti, all of it, I think
I can't say much yet but the materials used are industry proven and trusted. All will be revealed before release.

The aim is to have some videos together showing new user recommended heat application, cleaning etc and a small list of torches the team have been using.
Everything is merely a recommendation and it's fully expected that people will do as they please to get the results they enjoy most.

I'm hoping to have some Wand adapters and will show how I've got the ZVS IH to work because silent vaping is a must.
Also as the weather changes there will be some 'ambient temp' feedback.

All very exciting and nerve racking at the same time.

Look forward to all you have to show us
If one of those Ti test units accidentally made it to ausland I'd love to give my feedback hahaa
Keep up the good work mate - I think you are onto something nice in this area of joint vaping and love that you are making a material safe version unlike many of the other iterations I'm seeing about (and there's quite a few now too)
Good stuff mate love the effort

Busy times but there is still progress being made.
A delivery of Olivewood going from planks to blanks.
And a concept that has been proved one way is taking a new direction.
1 gram bowl anyone.......

@invertedisdead thank you.

I gave up machining metal a long time ago.
When I first started in engineering it was very poorly paid but I'm grateful of the experience and the fact that it allows me to understand machining processes and how to put together drawings.

The Ti parts and finned sections I'm modding to suit this purpose which unfortunately takes up precious time but helps keep the overall costs down.
The 8mm O ringed Ti pieces are made at the cnc machine shop I've used for a while.
SS stem liners are down to me.
