My TM2 survived its first camping trip at the weekend there and provided me with huge consistent on-demand hits with only a quick battery change needed every now and then, no waiting for it to charge up. The TM2 still surprising me, well happy with the purchase.

Unfortunatley even though the TM2 survived the camping trip, the stem didnt survive the first clean up and broke after i dropped it in the sink. I think id rather get the HA terp pill stem than the stock replacement but ive not seen them in stock here in the UK. @VapeFiend.com any idea when you will get these back in stock? The other option is the 3d stem but its a bit long or the bubbler, but I went off the bubbler after looking at a video loading it seemed a bit awkward.

Hi, for those of you have done a burn off on the TM2, what steps did you follow?

Also, do I need to clean the glass stem or new cooling unit or good to go as is?

It does seems like the titanium needs a cleninf and iso soak from what I’ve read.

I picked up the glass WPA and mini bubbler. On both of these, the holes of the built-in glass screen seem pretty big. Do others that use these use a SS screen as well, or just go for a coarser grind and no extra SS screen? I usually use a fine to medium grind (never super fine) and I'm not sure whether the holes are small enough to prevent some herb from getting through. I suppose I could go for a coarser grind, but I'm not sure how this will affect efficiency and extraction.

If you use a SS screen, whet kind of screen? The basket screen that TM sells?

For the burn off, I set the temp to 10 and put in session mode, and let it sit running for a few 5-10 minute intervals.

Everything else (except the o-rings got an ISO bath).

I use bubbler without a screen, using a course grinder. Some material still gets through, so I assume fine to medium would definitely pull through in inefficient manner.

Yeah couldn’t see them stocked anywhere, would you say its worth it? I keep going back an forward with the bubbler, especially as I mainly have a wpa in it so can use it with all sorts of bubblers and bongs. I would like a good stem for just hitting native, so maybe the 3d cooling stem could do while i wait for the HA to come back in stock.

That is a really nice series by Dime Bags...I went with regular Dime Bags because of the colors...the red and the blue ones. One thing for sure they are very durable and mine are so padded inside. Its like a pillow for your vape. LOL.

I understand buddy, I asked good vibes boro to make a TM stem and during the wait I got annoyed by the product cost to shipping cost ratio, so I decided to ask for a j hook as well :D

The cooling stem from TM themselves would not have my preference because the shape and the mouthpiece plus price with shipping from Finland makes importing a custom stem from US pretty competitive (at least to EU).

If you're set on HA maybe you could ask them to set you up with a stem and a mouthpiece or something to make it bit more attractive?

Cheers man, yeah i get that way about paying shipping that is as much as the item. Not dead set on the HA stem but it looked nice and I seen it on Vapefeind website. I usually use it with a bong or the big mouth piece from my sticky brick maxx, got a j hook too but not as keen with that. Vapefeind do the 55mm and 80mm stems pretty cheap so I might order a couple as spares and to preload on the odd occasion.

Man the color ones do look great and they are the perfect size too. I would love one but the smell proof needs is essential for me.

Nothing wrong with the stock stems, it's the cu that whilst is very effective steals too much goodness.

The custom cu top and bottom are made from cut down evo xnails, the balls are 5mm quartz

Has anyone here tried the v2 dosing capsules? I picked up two of them. They didn't come with an o-ring, but it seems that they are meant to have an o-ring slide onto the cover of the capsule.

However, when I do this, for life of me, I cannot get the o-ring to stay in place when trying to put the dosing capsule in the stem. Due to the size/shape of the cover where the o-ring goes on, the o-ring bunches up and comes off every time I try to insert the capsule.

Anyone have any tips? I'm not sure I'll like using these dosing capsules, but I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to vape on the go with the TM2, and in theory, these are a good idea.

I’m thinking Just adjust the bowl from about 2to4mm .

I would like to think farmerpalmersnt for the Ebonization of TM2 Wood in post number17,182
I Rubbed the wood after along soak of the steel wool inWhite Vinegar. Then Rubbed the wood in direction of grain with steel wool wetted by the Vinegar.
it was hard to ebonize the wood where it meets the Lower and Upper Covers due to not disassembling the TM2.
It came out nice after two tries.

Can you explain how you did this? I'm at whit's end with the stock CU. It's so bad that I'm shocked it's related to the craft work that is the TM. I have extra rubies from my Flowerpot B1 that I want to use until I get an aftermarket stem for my TM2. Also, is there an official Discord for TM fans?

I have them and use them. They don't come with/use an O ring. The capsules sit at the bottom of the stem under the CU.

You can unscrew the cooling unit and remove the contents and fill it with 3mm rubies or boro etc. You can also use two screens to hold the pearls, works really in wood stems. In the titanium stem I use the cooling unit separated on each end and have it filled with a mix of 6mm and 3mm pearls.

Well, the 4mm stainless steel spheres have arrived I put 13 inside a half cooling unit, with a screen preventing the holes from blocking. And the original CU screen in the other side For me it's more than approved...they maintain a good airflow and work better than the nut and washers... on top...

Post above this one of mine is excellent for showing it off. Basically unscrew CU, carefully remove screen & internals, re-insert screen carefully after adding beads. Now the CU is a little glass bead vessel.

Aaaah, so the dosing capsule doesn't actually stay in the stem? It kind of just rests on the heating element, and the stem then goes around the dosing capsule? For example, if you pull out the stem with the TM2 sitting upright, the dosing capsule will stay behind and remain sitting on the heating element, correct?

That would explain my confusion! I'm still scarred from reading all of those posts of people damaging their OG TMs by having the dosing capsule touch, push down on, and short out the heating element. I guess the newly designed heating element completely removes all of those fears?

And for people that use the S&B dosing capsules, I guess it's the same idea? Put the dosing capsule on the heating element, then insert the stem on top of the S&B capsule?
