TinyMight / TM 2

SEARCH for the treasure...
I may have an old color by numbers set somewhere, lol. I’ll refrain from additional RED posts. I think however there’s still speculation on the wood species for the red version and it was confirmed it’s not stained (or a yellow and magenta mix :) ). I did ask TM as follow-up to my repair email and haven’t heard back yet what it was. Maybe they won’t reply. We shall see. Keep the TM2 reviews coming - very positive so far! :peace:

I’m holding off on my TM2 purchase, and like you, interested in other wood choices. If there is a warm/red option, I’ll probably end up with the same type as you! :)

The eagle has landed :brow:Today the TM2 arrived by mail. Must really say the quality is top. Compared to the TM 1.5- no rattle on the button, no smell and is really good in the hand. The surface of the wood is very soft and pleasant. I will test the TM2 extensively on Friday and compare with the TM 1.5. The first impression is really WOW 😯. Am really excited.

The crux of what TM said to me is that different woods react to heat differently, fit, finish (and Finnish :)), etc. Only 1-2 or perhaps a handful of those were made and they want to test them a bit to see how the wood reacts, etc. before they make a sizable batch or limited run. I don’t know if they’re considering other wood variations however we’ve seen 3 nice ones for TM2. Time will tell. Glad you’re on the RED wagon too :) - whatever species it is. :peace:

Although personally I think red looks a bit naff but each to their own.

I think the folks waiting for other colours will be waiting a long time. Makes no sense for him to release while walnut is selling like hot cookies. He will probably release it down the line, thinking that some people may buy a second unit.

I can wait, my TM1 is working fine, and any issues with a new device release, will be worked out by then, as in previous releases.

Tinymight is one of the easiest vapes to clean...and the cooling unit is ingenious. I think it works unbelievably superb...and so easy to clean. I feel its solid in my hand and the finish on the bottom is sealed so nicely. The button is very firm. Truly a huge improvement...I am truly enjoying this vape and wish that everyone had one. We do not need any other vape...can we take the slogan from that other vape..."the only vape you will ever need.." LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Morning bowl roasting on 3, this is after a few hits. Absolute lovely taste, plenty of green for later, and evenly roasted throughout.

When emptying the bowl is it normal for pits if herb to get stuck on the sides of the glass and in between the CU and glass!
Seems to be if you're using fine ground flower, and inhaling a bit too hard in my experience.

Anyone planning on waxing the walnut on their TM2?

I'm liking the titanium stem. I've found that my everyday j-hook cools sufficiently that I only use one basket screen in the stem. But I dug out one of my old CU parts and some titanium balls and, damn, if that wasn't one cool draw! I liked the durability of the metal stem as well. The glass 18mm adapter I use has had a few close calls – and it's my second. Got me wondering if anyone makes a titanium WPA, a 16mm titanium tube with a machined taper? But then I realized I could make my own adapter. I went through my Hopper supplies and found one of the silicon mouthpiece sleeves, put it over the titanium tube and it made a nice seal. The vape experience was really superb, so smooth. I might actually use that CU for a while – until I get tired of chasing those titanium balls around when I'm cleaning it.

Maybe the manufacturer will make a raised knurled replacement battery cap for the TM1.

TM mistakenly sent me two TM2s in two separate packages. I checked and I only ordered one (I was placing my order on my phone in the middle of a work meeting due to the timing of the release and at first I said to myself, crap I order two by mistake) and I checked my credit card statement and they only charged me for one. They did send me two tracking numbers with the same Order ID in separate emails, but I didn't notice until I looked after I got the second unit. I just sent them an email to see how they want to handle. I have to admit that for a second I considered just keeping the second one, but that didn't seem right. They are a relatively small company and I would have felt guilty when I used my TM2 if I didn't tell them and ask how they wanted to address the mistake.

I see the TM2 being my go to vape for a long time, while the improvements seemed minor when I first heard about them, they added up to make the TM2 noticeably better than the original (and that is saying a lot).

So they got back to me, I am going to mail it to them and they will reimburse me for the shipping. They were thankful for me reaching out.

Also, If anyone has any ideas for accessories that could be designed and 3D printed, I would be happy to take a crack at some and get more practice making them.
It probably requires a machinist but I want someone to design a heat exchanger that fits down over the air intake holes and uses the incoming flow to cool down the outgoing vapor. Look at the design, it's already doing some heat exchange, it just needs to be taken to the next level. I won't hold my breath...

I bought the dosing capsules. I believe that they are a major improvement. The first gen dosing caps had a lid that fit over the capsule. In order for the V.1 capsule lid to fit made the capsule body with the cannabis is looser in the stem.
These new capsules look identical to Fury Rogue caps. Does anyone know if they actually are the same?

If you can confirm, if you picked up any dirt in this cleaning, someone else mentioned they did not, and it's supposed to be coming fully cleaned now... Would love (for myself and others) to not need clean to get started!

Can confirm that it arrived cleaner than my 2020 OG, but not clean enough to use without another cleaning at home first. Everyone, please clean and burn off your brand new vapes before first use, no matter how clean people say they are.

On another note, the TM2 is AWESOME. I've gotten huge clouds at 8 and incredibly full flavored low temp clouds from 2. It seems way more efficient and powerful than my OG, but I have a really old TM, so I'm not sure if the 1.5 editions run hotter. I'm really digging the Walnut and the smooth finish. It is even better than the OG for microdosing, I feel like I can utilize the whole temp wheel even with the tiniest of bowl sizes. One hit and done...love it. The TM2 even has a confirmation haptic buzz in session mode for when it reaches temp for the first time! I love that!

I like the titanium mouthpiece alot, even though the ends could be machined a bit smoother. The flavor is still solid, and I like having a stronger stem for the road. The TM2's upgrades are definitely legit, it is even better than before!

I plan i giving it a quick wipe using dynawax (the TM wax was out of stock), but not fully committed yet.

Have you used the Ti stem without the CU or is that not recommended? Just curious how much hotter the vape is.

Just a dude
I got the second TM (not TM2) they shipped a few days ago and it’s been a lot of fun getting to know each other, holy moly! :ko:
I prefer the vapor through my 2-pill high artisan stem to the stock stem/cooling unit so far and I haven’t even tried the 508phineas vigreux stem yet. I experimented for the sake of science and I’m happy to confirm the data from other researchers out there, the TinyMight really is great for vaporising hash wrapped in rayon (or whatever ya got).

The tentative plan is to enjoy the honeymoon and in a few months, if the members here are somehow successful in selling me on the sexy new model, I’ll pass this to my eldest and scoop a TM2. I think walnut can be a really beautiful species and it seems they’re selecting some nice blanks for the bodies. I can hardly wait to see more pictures here of units in the wild!

Tbh I probably coulda shoulda done a more thorough series of burn-off after the first cleaning. I’ve nearly died on seven occassions in my life so far (really surprised the doctors on a couple of those), so now I’m feeling pretty stupid about not doing better. In my defence, it‘s been ages since I’ve bought a battery-powered portable plus I was so excited on its arrival that I acted like a child and rushed the initial pregame. I’m fairly certain that I’ll be okay though, besides my warranty on this body was voided 35 years ago so it’s not like I can ask to speak to a manager.

Imho everyone should occasionally give their TM or TM2 some lovin’ with a tiny amount of beeswax/mineral oil mixture, which is basically all the TM wax, DV wax, Ed’s Bombass Butter or any of the other wood waxes are. Especially the walnut body will deepen and the grain become more beautiful over time. I guess I will even though it’s wearing a lovely leather jacket at the moment.

I was going to use Boos Board Cream (for cutting boards, beeswax+mineral oil) that I thought I had on hand but must of used it all.

Crap - this is the first time I didn't do some burn off cycles before use. I went straight for the iso bath with the glass stem and CU and went to town...Hopefully I didn't get a bunch of chemicals in my body :(.
