In order to calculate an individual's 70-day supply limit under law (with exceptions) these rules have been published as Emergency Rule 64ER22-8 Dosing and Supply Limits For Medical Marijuana.

Does anyone understand this?

I've never gone over my limit or had anything ever prevent me from buying weed unless I forgot to renew.

Does this mean on your first day of a new 70 day cycle, you basically can't buy a bunch of product, because you have a daily limit? And maybe you'd have to save up a few days before you're able to buy something big on a new cycle?

Says 2 grams of smokable daily. So if on day 1 of the 70 day cycle I try to buy weed, I can only buy up to 2 grams?

This latest change does not affect Smoking Marijuana at all. That is still on the 2.5 ounce per rolling 35 day period.
The 2.025 grams is just what the 2.5 ounce over 35 days breaks down to on average. You can buy any amount left on your rolling 35 day period.

This lowers the milligrams available for Medical Marijuana (oral, edibles, inhalation etc) both individually and in the aggregate and establishes a 70 day rolling period for these types.

EDIT: This also moves "Flower Cups" from inhalation to smoking. I never had those, but some people would get those when they used up their smoking allotment. I think Muv has a sale on flower cups because of this change.

Its not good for me...my 70 day for inhalation (concentrate) is at 28,000 mgs, with this new bullshit, I'm capped at 24, 500 mgs unless I get my doctor to fill out a waver. I called as soon as I got the email...I had to explain it four times and then she said she was sending me an email and the doctor an email (she said I had to send an email requesting it and I said I don't have his email)...no email ever came. I'll have to call again on Monday and wait on hold forever again to try to fix this crap.

Why was this done anyways? I did not know anyone had an issue with this area.

The 24,500 is also an aggregate cap - meaning if you use 24,500 on inhalation within 70 days, there is nothing left for edibles, oral etc.

As far as your situation, your prescription remains in effect until the end of your present 210 day prescription.

This just came out, so Doctor's offices are going to need time to get up to date.
The Request for Exception form is available at the "know the facts mmj" website under "regulatory information" (as is a copy of the emergency Rule 64ER22-8 - Dosing and Supply limits).

Also, I am wondering why your inhalation was capped at 28,000 - mine is capped at 42,000 on my present prescription (and I did not ask for any more).

My cap was actually lower than that to start. I used more flower in the past than I do now because concentrate works so much better for me in the present. I didn't know about the aggregate cap, now I want it much higher because I wanted to start using edibles.

I just checked at the State Registry and they have revamped to reflect the new information.
The good news is that my old prescription is still effective.
They show 42,000 for each of oral, edibles, topical, sublingual and inhalation (less my purchases in the past 70 days) and my aggregate is the sum of those.
Suppository shows the new 13,650 limit and does not add to the total (I assume my Doctor did not write for suppository)

So check the site for your limits, you almost certainly have time to get this straightened out (assuming your Doctor gave you authorization for all) as your old prescription should still be in effect.
There also is a guide for Doctors to submit an Exception request. I think things will be easier with Doctors once they see the guide.

I do not understand why the edible limit is so small and the aggregate limit is ridiculously low.

I've had waxes at other budget spots and it was pretty disappointing. As long as it's got some flavor...

May snag some cheap flower from them too and hope for better flavor than HT

I've mentioned in the past that I have no experience with concentrates and that I also don't know enough about types and prices. BUT if someone were to give me a primer I would definitely use it. For example...when I was told that the "Midnight" vape was a favorite I started looking for its sales.

I would need something like:
- Wax at this price would be of interest. Feel free to add a particular dispensary. Or take the "Midnight vape" approach and just tell me the wax name for the specific dispensary.
- Do the same for other types of concentrates.
- Could also mention which types and dispensaries to avoid.

Snagged a G of London Pound Cake Wax, and an eighth of Dessert Runtz flower for a total of $47.50 from LHS. Quite the deal.
At HT at 50% off, that would be $62.50.

The Runtz hits me with a nice sweet smell, similar to a lot of other LHS flower I've gotten. Seems to be their signature, seems each dispensary sort of has one. For $15, it definitely seems acceptable, but I'll know more when I vape it. Just glad there's a smell of weed instead of soil like the HT ones lately.

The Wax when handed to me out of the freezer and opened 1 minute later in my car, had absolutely no smell. Just neutral.
I waited for it to warm up a bit, and she released some more terps that was just a clean, fresh dispensary smell on the surface. A long inhale though shows there's some more "mids" type of flavor in there. Hopefully that doesn't come through too much on the flavor.

All in all, happy with the price, better than expected and not disappointed.

LHS is nice because there is no check in process, just simply walk in, show your card, and order. Took about 2 minutes to step in and step out.

Light deprivation means covering the plant area so that it gets less sunlight.
So, yes it is usually a matter of depriving the plants of natural sunlight.
I assume that is the same for Surterra.

Originally used to shorten harvest times. Supposedly, the shortened daily light cycle causes plants to flower early.
My friend who grew thought it was not the best flower.

Speaking of lighting...I used to grow indoors. Setup: long closet where I hung a track had a small motor on it that moved my one big light from side to side (saved me a ton to not have to buy more lights and ballasts) with a timer for the motor and the ballast the big light was plugged into to turn on and off. The motor on the track had a lever that when it hit the end and compressed, it would reverse direction and vice versa. I had a high pressure sodium and a metal halide (the former a sunset color for flowering and the later bright white like mid-day sun for vegetative growth. Normally I would run the metal halide for 1-2 months and then switch to HP Sodium for the flowering. Had a barrel full of nutrients outside that fed a bucket with floats in it to control the pumps that fed to the buckets that the plants were in. So I would take clones from two mother plants I had in a different closet and rot them for a couple weeks and then do the above. The best I ever grew was when I went from the clones straight into flowering with no vegetative stage. I had one bud that was pretty much the entire plant and weighed well over an ounce once harvested and tried...all the other plants had just a few buds, because the plants were smaller, but the buds were enormous.

I know TLDR, lol.
