Yeah I've said it before but I think there's a lot to improve here lol not sure we will ever see an FF3 and I'm not sure I care at all? lol
Facts. After using the glow 18 and stem packing it, i can't go back to the ff's bowl and all the mess the herb is doing while vaping

Yeah the messy bowl, you could never fully clean underneath it, loading and unloading is pretty tedious though not as bad as a grasshopper, but the actual extraction is a tedious experience, first few hits are great, then it is just not enjoyable, so easy to get scorch spots while other spots are green, with the setting still below 300F (not to mention the design of the settings and the buttons and the mouthpiece) still not sure I would sell this one for the novelty of having it around, but I'm also not so sure I should bother keeping it as it's hardly useful at all

I used to use it at ~195C and found it extract very well if I stir every 3 hits while making sure my ff2 whistle when I draw.

Oh hell...I don't have any problems with my Firefly's...they are perfect. The design is super. Sometimes I just get tired of looking at my boxy ones...I get out a pick, great herb and I sit to enjoy the BEST taste around. The pull is not the same as others...I do not care. The battery is not the same as others...I do not care. Packing it is a breeze and cleaning it as well...there are my vapes I cannot truly live without. My Firefly, Tinymight, Minivap, and the Vapman. Everything else is just there...my Legacy that everyone raves about! Just sits...its a preference for everyone. I just feel very lucky to be able to have or have tried lots of vapes. I love that hum....the Firefly hum. Nice and slow.

Yeah I really need to get some better herbs so I can appreciate my FF2+ more, sticking a hole nug in to flip it after two hits and then break it up after two more, even putting it in another vape to finish after, can be such a delicious experience for us flavor savorers

I sooooooooooo agree. I just got a bit of the Blueberry OG...and I had never tried it before and I did for the first time on the Firefly 2 plus....and I was just simply amazed. That session is worth a million bucks for me. Then, I put that down...and go to my Tinymight and finish. It is a good day. I can at least walk without pain. Before I vaped, I was on mega meds. Real meds that fuck you up. Now, I am not taking any pain meds and just vaping...my Dr.'s are all supporting my transition to medicinal herb. So vaping has kinda saved my life. I am in this for maybe different reasons than most...so, finding the Minivap for example, was another mega experience. These vapes are the serious shit....and when the new Tinymight comes out there will be nothing else to get...

I gave my FF2+ to my son for the following reasons:

1. I have tile floors and the glass can easily break if you drop it, which I did more than once. Eventually got a small crack but it was still usable.
2. The seal started coming loose. I've heard this is a common problem.
3. Didn't like having to take the whole top off and stir. I think this contributed to the seal problem in #2.

Upgraded to PAX3 for portable. Flavor not nearly as good as the FF2+ but at least it doesn't break when it's dropped and also you don't have to stir.

The pax3 survives drops to hard floor?

Yes it does. I've dropped it at least 3 times. Difference between metal and glass.
I have dropped my Utillian 722 that way and that thing is a TANK...no dents. Functions perfect. I think I can throw it against a wall and it will still work. I have never dropped my Firefly...I would sink into a severe depression if I ever did. LOL

I’ve not seen this mod anywhere else, so thought I’d share it as it helps with a few of the bugbears people have with the Firefly 2. Adding a dome screen:
  • Keeps the flower contained, so you only end up with AVB speckled on the window.
  • Makes swapping out bowls super fast and helps prevent the holes in native bowl from clogging
  • Adds some conduction for slightly denser draws and removes the need too stir

The Green Dream baskets are the ones I’m using. If the Arizer baskets fit an 18mm joint then they’ll work too.

You need to reform them a little in order to make a good fit.

The Arizer basket screens will fit into a 18mm male joint.

Cool & simple mod

My Airier baskets come today, cannot wait!!! I like baskets/pods becuase it makes keeping the devices so much cleaner (that's just really important to me) and really the only thing missing on my FF2+). So this sounds really promising :-)
